Meaning flooding of people to Lagos has been on for years before independence. Making it look as if they started coming to Lagos just 30 or 20 years ago is fallacy.

As at the time the doctors were on strike, the state governor was financing the missionary hospitals and revamping the moribund nursing schools that have been abandoned for years. He was able to give them billions upon billions to revamped their hospitals and turn them to world standard. Today, anambra state have one of the best healthcare facility in the country because of the initiative of Peter Obi and when Obiano came onboard, he said Obi did wonders in health.

How many passengers use even the lagos international airport yearly? How many Nigerians travel out and how many Nigerians come into Nigerians through the airports? Airports should not be a pride contest but a commercial venture. Airports are very expensive to build (particularly in this part of the world) and maintain. All our airports presently are poorly maintained, with no power, poor baggage handling, bad runways and faulty and archaic air traffic equipment, and you want to add more.
