I've been trying to apply for Chemistry MSc at Ruhr Bochum, but I've been encountering difficulties. The online application system has refused to move me over to the next page for application proper. Please, I need your assistance.

I am surprised you are having this issue. I also used their online application page. Could you share a screenshot.

And for application, I don't think they are taking any at the moment.. so won't be a bad idea to request certificate of presence, it will go a long way in the end..

1. Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences - BSc
2. Ruhr university Bochum - MSc

What do i do next,
- application for "Certificate of Presence" from these universities OR
- proceed with CAT B application on the German embassy page?
