Ablekelsy01 : 1. After the interview online and all the video sent. I was offered employment letter which I print out and sign and scan back and send. With this document and others requirements it was was used to apply for residential permit. So to answer that question it did not come at the same time. Offer letter first and after 3weeks residential permit which all the two documents and others requirements you will now use to apply for visa-mvv. Second question which is almost answer the third question: I applied at Ghana royal Dutch embassy. With God is good mottos you will land at Accra Ghana. So I did not go to Benin republic. Hope I answered you questions. Oh I forgot: is not sponsorship visa. Because the company made it clear during the time of the interview that I will bear the cost of my flight fare but the residential permit application was paid by the company. Although in the offer letter accommodation, feeding at break time and transportation to and fro is provided by the company |
Ablekelsy01:Applying for a long-stay visa (MVV) for residents of Nigeria If you want to stay in the Netherlands for longer than 90 days, you may need a residence permit. In many cases you will also have to apply for a long-stay visa before you travel to the Netherlands. This visa is also called an authorisation for temporary stay (MVV). You can only apply for an MVV at the consulate-general in Lagos if the purpose of your stay is knowledge migrant. Or if you are a family member of a knowledge migrant, submitting your application for an MVV at the same time. For all other categories, you can submit your application at the Netherlands embassy in Cotonou, Benin or at the Netherlands embassy in Accra, Ghana. |
To answer your question Ablekelsy01 : Let me talk with my experience: Royal Dutch embassy has embassy at Lagos and Abuja all in Nigeria. But when I got my permit/residential permit - MVV I need to apply for visa I went online there website and they refered me to Ghana or Benin republic so I have to go to there embassy physically and I was told that royal Dutch embassy in Nigeria only attend to students visa application not work. Work visa application should go to Ghana or Benin republic. So that's it |

oh well congrats. A friend of mine got a tech job in Netherlands, only complaint he has was language. Tho many dutch people can speak English, he has problems with signs ( like when driving in unfamiliar places) . Both have similar immigration policies of working for 5 years before qualifying for citizenship.
