Hi Guys,

I’m back to share the last part of my story! God has finally done.

I started the journey I 2019 when I applied for the SINP nominee program. In January 2021, my application was rejected based on POF. Why? Not because I’d do not show the requested amount, but because I transfer part of the money to an investment account and failed to show the proof as well as LOE.

Due to my determination, I applied again that same month. Fortunately for me, I received another ITA in February 2021, and submitted a complete application in April 2020.

I decided not to put all my eggs in one basket, in the same month of February, myself and my spouse applied to four different colleges (paid application fees) and got admitted to two of the colleges.

Despite having ongoing SINP application, we decided to pursue student route. I reached to different agencies both home and abroad to assist with the student application and also include my family. Most of the feedback centered around me applying first and after three months, my family can join me.

Because I don’t want leave my family behind, I decided to DIY and as God may have it, I submitted the application in April 2021 along with visit visa for spies and kids.

In September 2021, my student visa was approved along with my family visit visa.

I deferred my admission to May 2022 because I did not want to start from Nigeria.

In December 2021, I received nomination letter from SINP and submitted my express entry application on 8th of January 2022

On the first of April, I travelled along with my family to Canada.

Just last two weeks, my express entry application was approved and got my COPR last week.

This platform played a major role and I’m so gratefully.

For those that are still awaiting decisions on their application, be optimistic, it will surely come. Don’t cut corners, follow the process.

If you need any information/clarification, feel free to reach out to me at aababasola@gmail.com

Hello Great People,

First of all, I want to thank everyone on this platform for the knowledge sharing. With God and the info on this great platform made it happen!

I got an ITA from Saskatchewan in 2019; I submitted my application but was rejected based on settlement funds. This was so painful because I had the money, but I transferred it to an investment account and failed to include LOE in the application. The key learning for me is that" ALWAYS EXPLAIN EVERY SITUATION TO THE VISA OFFICER AND DON"T ASSUME THAT THEY UNDERSTAND."

Fortunately for me, I received another ITA the same month (Feb 2021), the same month I got the rejection letter, which the process is still ongoing, and I'm hopeful for a nomination before the end of the year.

Not having all my eggs in one basket, I applied to Humber and Centennial College and got admission to both Colleges. I decided to go with Humber College.

I reached to an agent in Toronto to assist with the Visa application (Study visa + Visit visa for my spouse and two kids). He quoted $1,500 for a study visa and advised that I go first, and in three months, I can apply for my spouse (Open work permit) and kids (visit visa). Because I didn't want to leave my spouse and kids behind, I decided to DIY for my study visa and visit visa, for my spouse and kids - which I strongly emphasized the need for my family to accompany me for one month in my SOP.

Confirmation of Online Transmission: May 12, 2021
Submission Confirmation:May 12, 2021
Biometrics Letter Collection: September 27, 2021
Correspondence Letter for study visa: September 28, 2021
Original Passport Request: September 28, 2021
Original Passport Request for spouse: October 5, 2021
Original Passport request for kids: October 6, 2021

I was banned in the UK for ten years and the ban will expire next year, February - an agent messed up my application.

My spouse wrote my SOP, and we worked and prayed together. I am so happy that I did the application myself without paying money to anybody.

QUESTION: I plan to change my spouse's visit visa to a work permit once we land. How should I go about it? Is it advisable to do an upfront medical and take the sheet along to Canada for the application? Or, can she do flagpoling? If yes, how should we go about it?

Thank you.

Good evening house. Please, I need your advice, and urgent too.

I deferred my admission to May when my approval was not forthcoming. Now it's here, and I'm expected to send my passport. Should I send it without the new LoA from my school, which I'm yet to receive? If I do, what would be the implication?

Thank you

PPR ALERT

My application was approved this morning. Updated request letter also dropped for one of my daughters. I am seriously praying PPR for my wife and my two kids, 2 and 4 years. So far, everything looks cool.

I will come back for more details. I need to go back to prayers.

Thank you,

Dear Gurus,

Please, I need your advice on how to proceed with my application.

I submitted my application May 8, 2021 and I attached the following supporting docs:

1. Regular bank account ( in spouse name however we are both signatories)
2. Reference letter from the bank
3. Receipt of tuition payment $CAD 8950 for first semester.
4. Consent letter from spouse
5. SOP
6. BSC certificate
7. Police certificate
8. Upfront medical
9. Employment contract
10. Promotion letter
11. Travel history ( United State)
12. Family pics
13. House and landed properties

Since the date of submission, I am yet to get any response from IRCC. Can I change the submitted bank statement and replace with mybankstatement? Similarly, I did not submit IELTS because I have 5.5 in listening, can I as well submit it like that?

Thank you,
