nairalanders and tech pls help my tecno l7 has gotten hard bricked. It was on friday so i decided to install this new custom rom and gapps i downloaded,after flashing twrp img,your boy no go carry last i quickly did rom backup,wipe cache,data and the rest,straight i headed to installing the new mashmallow rom. But later got error.sha I no too vex,den i rebooted my phone,it took time but later my phone was working wella like say na new phone i buy. with smiles i decided to install back my previous backup.that was when the problem started,as i tried recovering my backup it started installing only for my phone to show me another error. Then i decided to reboot my phone,my phone refused turning on.hangs on boot animation,it doesnt charge,cannot enter recovery. I haue tried everything i know all to no avail. Even with my laptop,sp flash tool,mtk driod tool,adb driuer,aio flasher. All to no avail.thats why am calling on all nairalanders to assist me with ideas to help unbrick my phone. Thanks

Good morning guys. Please my INFINIX HOT 2 has virus. It boots to homepage. But blank. I cant see anything to operate. Good morning guys,I rooted my innjoo i2s using kingroot but recently I discovered my phone no longer connects to my laptop but it charges when connected. I have exhausted all d means I know,restored my system,downloaded drivers upon drivers n apps upon apps,even did factory reset all to no avail...when plugged in,the system does not make any sound but the phone charges.I tested an infinix hot by connecting to the system,it installed the driver automatically n worked fine but my phone doesn't so I'm wondering if it is the rooting that messed with it but then I unrooted and connected buh still got the same result.Wthout connecting to the system I don't know anyway to flash the custom firmware...m not a tech guru so pls help cos this is driving me nuts...thanks y'all.

Please, I have an infinix note 2 x600. An update popped up and I did the update. After some time updating the phone, it says error. I on it back and unroot the phone and again did the update, still tells me error. When I on it back again, it's just switching on and off itself. I gave the phone to an engineer, unfortunately, he flashed a wrong stock rom into it. I later discovered that the phone is of 3 variant with different stock rom. It's not detected when connected to pc but when I connect it into a power bank, the power bank always show it's charging but the phone won't show any sign of charging. Please, any idea on how to bring back working?

I never said it was fantastic, I did say it was the one that held my attention the least out of the films I had watched yesterday. Seriously, I honestly didn't remember most of the characters' names. Although, the first POV scene was brilliant.

Personally, I enjoyed Legend of Tarzan though.

he doesn't, he made sure the battery stay charged at all time until now. last time this happened someone helped him to force it to boot with a laptop with some type of software, but this time is just not responding to anything.... just stuck on fastboot mode.

I can help u fix it easily if the phone makes a sound when connected to a system but if it doesn't, now that's a whole new ball game and I'll need u to fix the power button first, the task will be quite time taking tho

U should know wen we Nigerians say UK used, it means pre used, whether we got it from a fellow guy in our street or from a shop that sells used phones

Few assertions I will try to correct, The UK I know and do not " officially " sell dual sim phones in there stores, even if you find someone with one, its most likely a Chinese import through eBay or third party resellers like gearbest ,banggood or Ali express.. Secondly, 99.9% phones used and sold in the UK are 3 g enabled, that's standard.. Its obvious someone sold a cheap Chinese phone with only 2G network and claimed it was a UK used phone..Am afraid there is nothing you can do to change that, other than to return it or sell it off to someone who just wants to text and make calls. Its almost impossible to browse or use internet on a 2g network.. what's the name of the phone BTW..

Once ur phone doesn't have a 3G band, it can never access 3G, the question is, how sure are u that it doesn't have 3G?

But after following the instructions and successfully installing the update I tried switching on the phone but it got stock at boot logo and kept on rebooting itself, only for me to call calcare centre in owerri to ask them if they can help me downgrade it to the lollipop OS, they were telling me they'll change motherboard for 17k.

Wetin concern changing motherboard and just simple restoring the old OS by flashing the stock rom.
Please what do I do??

Take it to a competent engineer, it just flashing it needs, if u feel u can do it, download it's stock os I. E original os without any upgrade and flash with sp flash tool, whatsapp me 07032443577

Sign out of Gmail and yahoo and whatever email u are using
Goto settings, apps, scroll to Facebook and clear all data

These two are what chops up space the most

Goto settings, apps, then look for the sizes under apps, clear the data on apps with large sizes, like in my screenshot, u will see bbm has over 100mb, click on the app and select "clear data"
