A friend of mine just came in from Europe and gave me a blackberry storm 9530. The phone was locked to Verinzon or whatever network. I just unlocked the phone and am using it but the problem is if i typed *556# to check my balance on MTN the phone will just call insted of loading to retrieve my balance from database. I have tried other SIM card like Zain and Glo, the same problem, meaning I can't even load a recharge card with the phone. I asked a phone engineer who say some blackberry behave like that from factory. please NL, what can i do? anybody with any idea of what to do with the phone to be able to check my balance?

Has nothing to do with repair

Only selected Sims can dial ussd codes on cdma/GSM devices

Goto YouTube and search for it, it's all over d place for mtk devices

Samsung users should pay engineers to get theirs done

1500 is very fair

Lagos peeps who are around surulere can Holla at me to do it free
