Listen ;Oron,Ibibio,Efik,Igbo,Yoruba,Annang,Esan,etc are different nations . Oron,Ibibio,Anang,efik and Eket are not brothers ;but are all linguistic neighbors just like (Sweden,Denmark,Norway,Finland) or (North/South Korea,Japan,China,Taiwan,Singapore). Only Africans were silly enough to accept the current system.
99.9 percent of Oronians want Oron to be autonomous and secede from akwa ibom (the advantages & benefits are too enormous )( Ibibio and Annang would be disadvantaged in a true federalism,so it is understandable that no Ibibio would like Oron to secede ).
Oronians don't want to be with Ibibios and annangs,but many just don't know how to go about it ;so they simply accept the status quo. Oronians have always regarded Ibibio as inferior since ancient times. Even a poor Oronian still posses pride . Despite the fact that Uyo is more developed than Oron at the moment,an average Oron mind is still optimistic and instinctively and subconsciously regard Ibibio as inferior. Conduct a referendum and see that 99% of Oronians would like autonomy and secession..
Let me tell you right now;Oron is seceding from Akwa Ibom by next year,and there's nothing you can do about it.

All these musicians you mentioned from J-town are a bunch of mumus. They go around trying to act American while their hometown is on fire. Ice Prince was in America recently for an interview at the Breakfast Club without once mentioning the plight of his people. That's the problem with the mentality of some of these morons - their goal is to make money so that they can show poor people how they are living large and better than them. What a bunch of philistines. And educated man will become rich and use some of his own money to help people in his home town. Fight for the defenseless and those without voice. But this dullards want everybody to see their latest cars (rented) and bling bling. What a bunch of disgraceful cowards. Some of us are far richer than these guys but you don't see us posting rubbish on Facebook and bragging like a lost soul.

At the very least you will have to have North 1.Northern Nigerian Republic (Arewa). 2. Benue-Plateau Republic 3. Biafra Republic 4. Niger-Delta Republic 5. Oduduwa.

Any split that produces a count less than this is a recipe for certain disaster. I even seriously doubt that the Ijaws and the Itsekiris will coexist in a single Republic for long enough.
