You don't need any prior experience for the certificate and advanced certificate options.. just register, better still go to any British council in Nigeria to find out other things like payments, exam dates and other learning options but if you're thinking of self study be ready to buy books. i have over a yr experience in logistics and inventory with little procurement knowledge but i want to go into procurement and supply chain mgt proper.

Hello, I was in ur shoes sometime ago.
i have been able to register with CIPS after a lot of troubles and will be writing july diet by God's grace.
You can pay ur reg/membership fee at any british council near you (94 or 96pounds payable in naira thru bankdraft). You can equally pay ur exams fee there.
however, you have to buy ur study materials directly from CIPS thru their website.

Did did you attend training in any of the accredited training centers or you self study?

i also need to know how feasible self study is.....as regards payments i think you'll pay registration fee of 93 pounds, study pack for your certificate option i.e advanced certificate is about 122.50pounds then examination fee of 72 pounds. But knowing the pass rate of self study students is important before taking that option. I heard from next year exam will be once a year. pls how true is this?
