RenaissanceGuy: You're mixing things up. Aso Rock is the same as Aso Villa. The full name is Aso Rock Presidential Villa and houses both office complexes and residence for the President. No Senator or Reps member lives there. Obviously, you're talking about the Three Arms Zone where Aso Villa, the NASS and Supreme Court HQ are located.
https://statehouse.gov.ng/presidential-villa/the-villa-2/ Lol.
I dey give you real-time descriptions, you dey show me google.

EyeCumInPiece: Oga Trump, abeg revisit the case of the KNOWN DRUG LORD. He won't.
He has more pressing concerns than the shenanigans of a corrupt President in a third world country.
He'll only turn to Nigeria if the Iragbiji deity in Aso rock decides to go cap-in-hand, begging for aid in the US or from her allies. |
Politics › Re: Blackout hits Abuja Central Area as vandals steal 132KV underground cables by BoldBrainz(m): 9:57am On Jan 18, 2025 |
RenaissanceGuy: You mean there's a difference between Aso Rock and Villa?? Are they not the same thing?? Aso rock is the seat of governance where the Presidency administers its official duties from. The villa is the residential axis.
When you drive into the environment and pass through the seven security check points (can't say if it's been reduced), a straight drive for about a kilometer plus should take you to the Aso rock entrance.
The villa however is accessed from the right and left turns before you begin that drive I just referenced. I've witnessed brief power outages that last about five minutes around the villa, but never seen same at the rock axis. |

RenaissanceGuy: Okay, but we're talking about Tinubu, but you're mentioning lawmakers; when do lawmakers start living in Aso Rock?? Did you miss the part where I mentioned the "Aso villa"?
Aso rock and the villa are connected to the same feeder source for 24 hours electricity supply.
And Nigerian lawmakers all have residences in the villa. |

madridguy: Armed robbers or Unknown gun men ?
Their mode of operation needs to be reviewed by their oga at the top. You cannot be breaking into peoples home at unfriendly ours and not expecting things like this.
Speedy recovery to the one at the hospital. They were indeed EFCC officials but they invaded the residence like criminals. The incident happened in the outskirt of Ifite and the man in question is not even a Yahoo boy, but a businessman with a family.
He had opened fire, instantly killing one and injuring another before realizing they were law enforcement. The weapon is licensed by the way.
Except the government decides to oppress him by flying the yahoo boy narrative which he can comfortably debunk if the law gives him fair hearing, he will walk free on the legal viability of acting on a self-defense impulse. |

RenaissanceGuy: Was Aso Rock ever on public power?? Are they not burning our tax money on 24 hour-generator sets?? If you're ever opportune to visit someone at the Aso villa, maybe your HOR member or Senator, you'll realize that generators don't run inside the villa.
Electricity supply there is on a 24-hour basis, so even though generators are budgeted for and bought annually, they're hardly used. |

dkidd: Lol na ancient price be that... About 3/4 years back a bag of Cana used to go for 1.4/1.350 M I know for a fact. And that bag was compressed just slightly bigger than that one brick. There. Except Ur not taking about Cana sha. Same cana I'm talking about. That's the Abakaliki and Cross River price I mentioned, as recently confirmed. With a 300K, I go give you connect for sound brick purchase. But a retailer who breaks it into sachels can make between 600 to 700K from that brick, depending again on the precise location of retail distribution.
It's significantly higher in Abuja and Kaduna. Though I'm not sure of the precise current amount. |

seunmsg: “The Forum endorsed a revised Value Added Tax (VAT) sharing formula to ensure equitable distribution of resources: 50% based on equality, 30% based on derivation, and 20% based on population.
The VAT sharing formula they proposed is totally unacceptable. To start with, population should not be a basis for sharing revenue in 2025. For equity sake, let’s have 50% for equality of states and 50% for derivation. Oboy, you've been dropping some pretty reasonable opinions lately o, and I'm proud of you😊.
