hello everyone, I have settled for a redmi 7 as I don't have enough funds for rn7 ( but there's no harm in helping, sha ☺)

I've gone through the reviews and I think it's pretty worth it (this will be my first Xiaomi phone).

I just wanna know if there's any other thing I need to, pros and cons inclusive and if there's a suitable alternative because some comments here are somewhat discouraging.

p.s. I'm just aware that Xiaomi phones don't come with earphones and the charger isn't the conventional 3-pin type I know.

I use the Redmi 7 and I can confidently tell you you made the right choice. Redmi 7 is even more battery efficient than Redmi Note 7. The pros plenty ooo I've had guys ask me which iPhone am I using For cons, I'm yet to notice any. From the pictures I've seen here, many guys got the 2-pin charger but mine came with 3 pin (pix attached).

No you can't, the SD Card is useless outside the phone it was configured to walk with. You cannot reformat nor use it except in the phone. Lost 64gb SD card to that experiment. Still can't find a way around formatting it outside the phone, unfortunately the phone has been sold off

Olayinkajnr has given an insight on this before. If you format as external storage, you can use it on other devices but can't install or move apps on it

Still not what I'm asking for.
If I format as internal storage, it wouldn't work outside my phone. Here's my question: Having formatted as internal storage and I want to use it as portable device in another phone, will I be able to reformat it as portable device in the new phone?

Hello guys, if I select the option to use my memory card as extra phone storage, will I be able to format it as external storage in another device if I want to start using it in another device?

Still doesn't match up completely. With button short cut or quickball, I can lock the screen without returning to homepage. With these launchers, I'll have to return to homescreen before I can lock screen

One feature I'll love to see in their next update is having a section in my page (themes) where we can access downloaded fonts. Also, if we can have a button to toggle between front camera and back camera while doing video recording.
