Christianity EtcRe: Who Is Your Favorite Bible Character And Why? by bolinchin: 4:56pm On Oct 26, 2014
I cant say I have a favourite but I do have 2 fascinating bible characters. They are a source of inspiration to me any day. Incidentally my two favourites are name sakes; JOSEPH THE SON OF JACOB and JOSEPH THE FATHER OF JESUS. The first Joseph endured temptations and trials without getting bitter at God.He held on tenaciously to his dreams even when it didnt look like he will see its fulfilment. He loved God not by words only but in action and forgave his brothers for all the pains they caused him.Joseph is a perfect example of Romans 8:28 at work in a man's life.
The second Joseph stood with his fiancee in the face of uncommon challenges. He didnt want her to be put to shame,he believed in God's plans for her life and laid aside his personal desires to see the plan come to pass.Oh God give me a man like Joseph

I dont get it! I mean this rich pastor poor congregation thing everyone is shouting about on this forum. How many commited members or should I rather say givers in Winners chapel or KICC are poor. These people are getting blessed by giving to the Lord, his work and his servants and there are many testimonies of churches like winners and KICC giving to the orphanages, widows and even giving start off capitals to less priviledged members and sometimes people of other faith. so what is all these noise about?

Scamming my foot! have you ever worshipped in any winners chapel branch before? with many state of the art wonder wheels parked in the church garage, those people are obviously not poor

EducationPG Students, whats Your Take On The ASUU Strike by bolinchin(op): 11:46pm On Nov 30, 2013
This may be hard to believe but over 70 percent of PG student I relate with are actually happy at the prolonged ASUU strike.Their reasons vary from having enough time to complete their research without running the risk of paying another school fees, accesibility to the supervisor who most times are encumbered with responsibilities towards the Undergraduate student, while some just believe in the cause ASUU is fighting for.I was so shocked the other day when about 7 PG students gathered in the lab to pray that the strike wont be called off till nxt year.Unbelievable?but this is true.so PG student whats your take on the strike and please state your reasons clearly and politely and undergrads if u av pg students who are in support can u ep state their reasons.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do People Sleep In The Church? by bolinchin: 8:32pm On Nov 10, 2013
Afam4eva: Satan gives them a very heavy knock on the head ;I used to sleep in church especially in night services and the sleep is usually the strongest and sometimes, i would wish that a bed be presented to me at that spot. The funny thing is that i always pray that the service comes to an end as soon as possible and when the service eventually comes to an end, the sleep disappears.
.if its about a knock then satan is hitting you real bad.on a more serious note, make sure you rest properly b4 every vigil and make up your mind you wont sleep and in case u stil feel sleepy get some water to drink and wash your face then go sit in a place where the meanest usher can locate you.i tel u wat he wil be more than ready to keep u awake.be careful so your moment of breakthrough do not pass u by

RomanceGuys: Would You Prefer To Date A "Lepa" Or An"orobo"? by bolinchin(op): 10:36pm On Nov 09, 2013
I have a notion that most Nigerian guy prefer to date slim women commonly reffered to as "lepa" while the "orobos" the fat ones are almost neglected.I have met a lot of beautiful fat girls who would do anything to get into a relationship and when they do get into one eventually they would do anything including stupid thing to keep the guy since they feel lucky to get one.So guys would you prefer "lepa" or "orobo" for a dating relationship or marriage?
