Deeper Life Reacts To Report Claiming Pastor Kumuyi Said US Is Trying To Steal Natural Resources

The Deeper Life Bible Church has publicly responded to online reports suggesting that its founder, Pastor Williams Folorunsho Kumuyi, opposed the United States’ military actions in Nigeria.

The statement was shared on the church’s official X account on Sunday, November 2, 2025, clarifying the position of Pastor Kumuyi and the church.

These reports appeared shortly after US President Donald Trump warned that if Nigeria continues to allow the killing of Christians, the US military might intervene to eliminate Islamic terrorist groups operating in the country. Following this, various online outlets circulated claims that Pastor Kumuyi had accused the US government of attempting to exploit Nigeria’s natural resources.

The Deeper Life Bible Church has since dismissed these claims as entirely false. In its official statement, the church emphasized that Pastor Kumuyi has not made any such remarks. It further noted that he is fully engaged with preparations and activities for the Global Crusade, leaving no room for him to comment on the allegations.
