Whatever you do have it at the back of ur mind that all the information u submitted is still in their database. You should not have allowed the agent falsify your details cos those are the details you are stuck with. All the best tho

He should chill. When the visa is ready, a text will be sent to his phone. Remember this is peak period and the embassys are full. No need for sleepless nights

I filled my ds-160 form and chose abuja but after paying the visa fee I found that the next available place of interveiw for the date I chose was in lagos.Then I called the us consulate and told them the situation.I was told to fill a new ds 160 form, go back to the other webpage that has my profile and update the new confirmation number. I did that and then called them back, and they confirmed that I had succesfully updated my onfo. My interview date did not change tho so don't know how true it is that u will have to get a new appointment.
Or maybe you could call the us embassy and talk to an agent.they could advice

i was interviewed by the same guy in cubicle 4 yesterday, and i was dreading him cos he looked vexed and unfriendly but i got my visa, Gods favor was at work.i didnt have to show any documents. but i spent the previous night praying that whoever called me would have no choice but to favor me
