newdada: It'll be really shocking to him. But one can bet the gain will reverse soon. Nigeria currently can't sustain 200naira to a dollar. I'll definitely be buying dollars soon tho. This dollar business is risky, I can't imaging losing 50% in a day...no longer interested. |

Chibuking81: this their loss is high, stock market will not perform that bad in a day, because they have limit the stock can fall in a day. Well, you can't blame my colleague... I myself would have been a victim too thank God the banker connection we had only listened to her(woman things)...The guy bone we guys begging him yesterday lol.. However, i learnt that dangote was behind the price manipulation of the dollar..How true is this? |

Chibuking81: I heard of 280, later 220, that is good news for our country Nigeria. Is like Ifeanyi Ubah has been hired by the government. This is good news to some people and bad news to some other people.... I have a colleague that purchased large sums of dollars at around N390- N400 just yesterday morning before the reversal in price....Am not in the office now but am sure she will be lamenting due to almost 50% loss in a day. |

locodemy: if u buy one @ 0.50k and the other @ #2.00 before the said improvement,is it not a good news to your portfolio?bros abeg na because of my desire to have them at at these prices make their prices to crash.just tell the fbn and fcmb faithfuls to take heart as i accumulate mine as they did their's earlier. I don't think fcmb can fall to N0.50k but in this market, impossible is nothing as nothing is impossible. |

megainvest: Clash of the Titans – An analysis of 2 Banking Stocks: FBNH and ACCESS. - By Megainvest
These two banking stocks have a long history together. Their historical price charts reveal they have been dancing the tango and battling for supremacy over the last 5 years. See Fig 1.
You will notice that since last year, Access has overtaken FBNH. This is because of several factors. I will mention 2 key ones: The huge impairment losses and the almost 2 billion naira TSA violation CBN fine suffered by FBNH. In fig. 2, I have attempted to summarise the KPIs of these two stocks and also made some conservative projections on FY 15 results. I honestly believe the FY results will be slightly better than my projection.
In summary, Access has managed to overtake FBNH in terms of price, profitability and dividends. FBNH has a lot to prove this year. The only way they can warm their way back into investors hearts is to hand out a handsome dividend (not bonuses). Nice analysis. |

hotcake: Myself, I am always weary of interbank transfers (other banks). Where your bank platform gives you options, use NIBSS. It is less problematic. I too am skeptical with inter bank transfer but thats was what one of morgan agent said yesterday..Now i have done the interbank transfer, i am yet to be credited. Honestly, i am tired of morgan wahala |
