This is what I have been saying: some folks are claiming that Tinubu should be commended for having courage. What kind of courage? Maybe courage to make thoughtless statements and inflict hardship on Nigerians is what should be commended.

Subsidy removal was supposed to come after the refineries had been activated and started producing fuel.

The excitement and euphoria of being sworn in as Nigeria's president overtook Tinubu’s reasoning, which led him to make that thoughtless statement: 'subsidy is gone.'

That thoughtless statement, followed by the floating of the naira, brought untold hardships on Nigerians, and this country will never recover from it.

Subsidy removal was supposed to be a gradual process, ensuring first that our refineries were operational and implementing measures to mitigate its effects on Nigerians.

There was no justification for the price of petrol to rise from below ₦200 to over ₦1,350 per liter in such a short time.

It was pure wickedness and draconian by the Tinubu regime in the way it handled the subsidy removal and floating of the naira.

If Dangote Refinery and other refineries were operational before the subsidy removal, the price of petrol wouldn't have gone beyond ₦400 per liter, and transportation costs, food prices, goods, and services wouldn’t have skyrocketed to the extent that they have

You can't convince me otherwise, I will still stand on my point that this apprenticeship is slavery. If you check am well, he fit dey do one kind corner-corner doings to help himself. "Making it this big" sounds like a pressure on him with the burden of a dad lying down with stroke partly as a result of how his son's boss treated his son. He has to be responsible for his dad's treatment and also start a business with a meagre 500k. A lot of these boys are into Yahoo, powder business, & other stuff.

BTW:

Let me emphasize here that Lagos State doesn't have a House of Assembly. The GAC members are the lawmakers. Every other person is inconsequential! Even the governor, Sanwo-Olu, is inconsequential!

Obasa is the eye of the GAC in Lagos State government house, and also the defacto governor, while Tinubu is the leader of the GAC.

What we have left in the 'House of Assembly' are puppets!

It's good we set things in proper perspective!

The same way dollars went down last week, now the fuel. A simple logical explanation for this is that elections preparation is behind the corner and they must get something to use for their campaign.

Pls write this down, if by mistake, Tinubu wins the second term election, dollar is going above N2000.

The closure, aside from affecting those selling drugs, also affected those selling other goods. NAFDAC has to look into it, ensuring that innocent people are not affected by the shut down of the entire area.
