I bought the tecno phantom 6 plus, the front camera was bad, the screen looked washed out (colors look very dull),it gets very hot from small usage, Struggles with Internet connectivity. The only thing i liked was the sharp back camera and the responsive fingerprint i had to sell it and buy another phone.

You are absolutely right in everything you said. The fingerprint response is lightning fast but every other thing didn't just hit it. The network connectivity is really terrible to be honest. I'm selling mine next year. iPhone 7 or iPhone 8 here I come finally after much persuasion from somehowpenis

Poster is right. Am having same issue with phantom 6 plus. I have earlier tried the suggestions given here but to no avail. I have even done permutations of several APN settings.
It will just refuse to keep browsing until you reset data again and this goes on over and over again.
When I tether service from another phone via wireless, all seem to be fine.
As I type, it still happens.
Am just waiting for OTA update that could fix this.

Only wifi works well. The Mobile Data does not connect until I reset it over and over again.

Sighs! I guess Tecno is still Tecno no matter the cloth you wear for it. Its unfortunate.

I have a major challenge here!!

I'm stuck at the Bootshot stage now. The two green lights on my Mifi is blinking intermittently and I cannot see the COM ports in Device Manager.
Also I cannot access the MTN Web UI when connected to PC. What can I do now? Can someone help please??

Basically mifi is a modem and router combined but with limited top speed and customization. For fixed internet they normally have modem and router connected separately and the speeds are more than what u get from 4g modems. Those wired connection have settings that can be tweaked to open all ports and change NAT type. U can't do that with a mifi or hotspot so u are stuck with whatever ur isp gives u.

So if you want to buy a router you must also buy a modem too?

Does the router come with a LAN cable or it connects wirelessly?

Yes it is possible, but not with hotspot and mifi. It can be done with a router which we hardly use here in Nigeria. It takes some tweaking to change the NAT type. And MTN does connect, just that it takes time. If it doesn't connect the first time then restart ur phone/modem. If it still doesn't connect keep restarting until it connects. Personally I prefer playing with MTN because it gives a smoother online experience.

What is the difference between a Mifi and Router?

Not that u can't play online, just that u will be matched only with people with NAT type 1 which is open port. So sometimes u might have to wait like 5 minutes before u find an opponent. With nat type 2 which is standard (mtn and spectranet), u will be matched within 1-2 minutes. Problem with mtn is sometimes it doesn't connect to PSN but etisalat connects 100% all the time.

For online gaming there are 3 types f connection.

NAT type 1 which is rare, all ports are open and u are matched within seconds. U are matched with people using NAT type 1, 2 and 3. I don't think any network in Nigeria offer NAT type 1.

NAT type 2 is standard which is what most people use

NAT type 3 is restricted and u are matched only with people with NAT type 1. It doesn't stop u from downloading stuff or playing with ur friends online.

I'm wondering if it's possible to change my Network Address Translation type on PS4. NAT type 1 is open, 2 is moderate but NAT 3is STRICT and that's where most Nigerian GSM providers fall.

Is it possible to modify the MAT type to another say NAT1 or 2.

Alright bro thannk you. Unfortunately I dont have access to strong internet connection that would be able to download that much at a go. I would just stick to buying the CD. would probably order it online. I just need it to play with fwends and families that would be comin over for Christmas.

Yeah FIFA 17 disc for PS4 is around 25-26k. I downloaded mine from PlayStation Store. I got it off the Black Friday Deal at $38. But I must warn you if you want to download the game......the file size is 38GB!

So you may want to get good internet ready before making your purchase. It took me around 24 hours to download using Etisalat with uninterrupted power supply.

The $38 deal ends 29 November and after that the price will revert to $60.
