Format+Download is risky. It can cause phone to lose its imei thereby making phone unable to receive mobile networks. 'Download only' is better.

It depends.. but once u follow exact procedure, it goes safe

My huawei phone is not giving me option to switch from 2g to 3g network. It is customised automatically to use 2g(imported frm china) . So im asking if i flash a custom rom, will i gain access to my 3g network? Browsing with 2g network in this country is a pain in d a$$

Make use of 4G switcher.. the app would help force-switch your device to 3G..
