Topic:The spirit of Adultery Sub-Topic:Vision showed to me by the most high. Bible verse :Exodus 20:1-10. Hello my Brothers and Sisters in Lord Jesus Christ, I greet you all in the name of the Most High God. I pray we shall make heaven. This is a vision showed to me by God Almighty, while I was sleeping. This happened last year, God has given me the Authority to share it with you all,am speaking to you under the authority of he who sent me (God),because he loves the people he created, he wants to save them from the hands of Satan, who had been looking for different ways to enslave the people of God. But the devil is a liar. I was sleeping, and the spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ lead me to unknown kingdom, things here are different, people here are in bondage, shouting for help day and night. They want to get out of this bondage, a very powerful beast was put incharge to make sure no one comes out of the bondage, because this seems the most powerful weapon for capturing the children of God. The beast qualities 1.The beast has total power on all the people in the bondage, he has their control in his hand, when they are shouting, he has power to shown them. 2.The beast is powerful 3.The beast eyes is like that of a cow. 4.He has two horns 5.He is dark in complexion, and hairy. 6.He is the spirit of Adultery, and known to be the Father of Adultery. 7.Has power to choose Husband and wife For those that are in his Bondage I asked God who are the people in this bondage? God said they are the adulterers, they grouped under the following names, Boyfriend/Girlfriend,Manfriend/Womanfriend and so on. While some are shouting some are busy sitting down and having fun, this people are those that are comfortable with adultery, God told me those that are shouting are those praying to God /Jesus to take them away from the sin because they want to stop committing adultery, but it's seems they Got no help. Millions of souls are there even the little boys and girls, anyone who had has sex before will be put into that bondage, this little children once they grow to maturity stage they will join the boyfriend/girlfriend. Suddenly all I heared is perfect silent because the beast noticed something is coming, those shouting for help, the beast had control them not to shout again, the beast went to hide somewhere, and suddenly I saw a light coming, it was Jesus Christ the son Of God, he had the noise of people shouting calling him for help, but ungetting there no one is shouting for help any longer, because the beast had control them not to shout, he drain their energy. Jesus Christ stood there to here someone shout for help, then I woke up. Message God sent me, Don't have a boyfriend/girlfriend,Manfriend/Womanfriend,because that name the devil has use it as a bondage to lure people to his kingdom. God ask me to tell you that you should always wait patiently, that he is the God that gives Husband to a girl, Wife to a boy, many marriage are destroyed because they were given husband/wife by the spirit of Adultery, he said you should let him choose for you, he knows what is best for you. Some people want to excel in life, academic, businesses and so on, they can't excel because they are in sin, in a very big sin, that is why the devil is having control over their lives, God said you should stop adultery, God can't hear the prayers of a sinner, God can't hear the prayers of those that goes against his commandments, be wise, and give your life to Jesus Christ.Thank you, I have delivered God message to you, and I pray you will have a change of heart in Jesus name, for prayers you can call me here 08156132151,you are bless

LAGOS— Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora
Matters to the President, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-
Erewa, has tongue-lashed South Africa’s Home
Affairs Minister, Mr. Malusi Gigaba, over his
negation of the death of 116 Nigerians in
xenophobic attacks by his fellow countrymen.
Mrs. Dabiri-Erewa in a strongly worded
statement bemoaned as irresponsible the
failure of the minster to realise the fact that
xenophobia is a social disease which his
countrymen needed to be cured of.
Noting with irony that Nigeria’s past
assistance to South Africa has fetched
xenophobia, Mrs. Dabiri-Erewa remonstrated
with the South African Home Affairs minister
over his lethargic response that the death of
“more than 100 Nigerians” should be sorted
out at the diplomatic level.
She said: “It appears that Mr. Gigaba would
rather dwell on and entertain himself with
diplomatic niceties when the welfare of
Nigerians resident in South Africa are at stake
now more than any time in recent history.
“His response to the xenophobic attacks,
which has now become a recurring decimal on
Africans, most especially Nigerians living
peacefully in their host country of South Africa
was, indeed, unfortunate.”
“While it’s no longer news that law-abiding
Nigerians in that country have borne the major
brunt of these attacks, the news by the Home
Affairs Minister that his country is trying to
get rid of criminals in his country at the time
when indiscriminate mayhem and looting of
law-abiding Nigerians is very suspicious, to
say the least.
Even if this unguarded statement must be
taken in its face value, we wonder if wanton
destruction and indiscriminate killing of their
African brothers is the most sensible excuse
to give. The home affairs minister should have
been more guarded and introspective in his
statements so as not to further fan the
embers of xenophobia that may get out
control if care is not taken.
“Nigeria and South Africa have a long-standing
diplomatic relationship in which the former
played a critical, if not a pivotal role that
culminated in ending apartheid, among so
many of her positive interventions.
“Indiscriminate killings, in which 116 deaths
have been recorded of her people MUST not
be how Nigeria should be paid back.
Xenophobia is such a debilitating social
disease, based mostly on ignorance, in which
its carrier also suffers. I therefore suggest that
the home affairs minister should engage in the
mass education of the South African people
about the debilitating effects of this disease
with immediate effect.
“It’s apt to mention at this juncture that the
home affairs minister only met with African
consulates forum, an association of African
consuls general, based in South Africa recently
, despite the fact that this meeting was long
overdue.
“Mr. Gigaba’s response to the mayhem that a
segment of the South African people
perpetrated on law-abiding Nigerians in South
Africa smirks of insensitivity, and it’s therefore
very reprehensible, if not unacceptable. In
view of this unfortunate statement, I am
therefore restating my earlier call on the
African Union (AU) to take up the South
Africa’s xenophobic issue as a matter of
urgency.
“The days that the Nigerian government will
fold its arms while its citizens are maltreated
to the point that some of them have lost their
lives for no just cause are long gone.”

Lecturers at Ladoke Akintola University of
Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso have
suspended their eight months old strike.
Dr Biodun Olaniran, Chairman, LAUTECH
chapter of the Academic Staff Union of
Universities (ASUU), announced the
suspension of the strike in a statement on
Wednesday in Ogbomoso.
ASUU said that the strike was suspended
following the union’s congress held on
Tuesday at the university.
“After comparing the demands of the union
and what the management has met out of
the demands, and after extensive
deliberations on the struggle so far, the
union has resolved to suspend the strike
immediately,” Olaniran said.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports
that the institution had been shut since the
lecturers went on strike eight months ago.
The union had embarked on the strike over
unpaid salaries and allowances, as well as
the failure of the owner states of Oyo and
Osun to release subventions to the
institution.
LAUTECH Vice Chancellor, Prof. Seleiman
Gbadegesin, recently told newsmen that the
two owner state governments had paid N584
million out of the N7.6 billion they owed the
institution.
NAN reports that the owner states had in
October 2016 set up a visitation panel in
their efforts to find a lasting solution to the
crisis.
The panel, headed by Chief Wole Olanipekun
(SAN), has submitted its report.

The terrorist Boko Haram group recruited about 2,000 children in 2016 and used them as child soldiers, the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has said. UNICEF Executive Director, Anthony Lake, disclosed this as global leaders gather in Paris on the anniversary of the Paris Commitments to end the use of children in conflict, according to a UN report. Lake said, estimates indicated that tens of thousands under the age of 18 were being used in conflicts worldwide. According to the UNICEF chief, exact data on the number of children used and recruited in armed conflict is difficult to ascertain because of the unlawful nature of child recruitment. “For instance, since 2013 an estimated 17,000 children have been recruited in South Sudan and up to 10,000 have been recruited in the Central African Republic (CAR).” “Similarly, nearly 2,000 children were recruited by Boko Haram, in Nigeria and neighbouring countries, last year alone, and there have been nearly 1,500 cases of child recruitment in Yemen since the conflict escalated in March 2015.” “We cannot give up the fight to end child recruitment,” the UNICEF chief said. According to him, even though over the past 10 years, more than 65,000 children have been released from armed forces and armed groups, tens of thousands of boys and girls under the age of 18 continue to be used in conflicts around the world. “It is not only about looking back at what has been accomplished, but looking forward to the work that remains to be done to support the children of war,” he said. Adopted 10 years ago, the Paris Commitments, together with the Paris Principles and Guidelines, lay out guidance for protecting children from recruitment and use by armed forces or armed groups. The Paris Agreement also assists the release of child soldiers and their reintegration, with other vulnerable children affected by armed conflict in their communities. “There has also been progress since it was adopted, the number of countries endorsing the Paris commitments has nearly doubled from 58 countries in 2007 to 105 at present, signalling an increasing global commitment to end the use of children in conflict.” “Globally, more than 65,000 children have been released from armed forces and armed groups, including 20,000 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.” “Nearly 9,000 in the Central African Republic; and over 1,600 children in Chad. But more needs to be done,” the UNICEF chief said. According to him, seeking to build on the current momentum, the Paris International Ministerial Conference on the Protection of Children in Armed Conflicts is urging for unconditional release of all children – without exception – and putting an end to child recruitment. “It is also calling for increased resources to help reintegrate and educate children who have been released, and urgent action to protect internally displaced children, child refugees and migrants.” “As long as children are still affected by the fighting, we cannot give up the fight for the children,” Lake added.

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mr. Joe
Agi, who is being prosecuted along
with Justice Adeniyi Ademola of a
Federal High Court , has told the
Department of State Services that a
President Muhammadu Buhari’s
lawyer paid N 500 ,000 to the judge in
2015.
Agi said Mr. Kola Awodein (SAN ) paid
the money to Justice Ademola in 2015
at the time the judge was presiding
over Buhari’s certificate case .
Agi had claimed to a DSS investigator
that the sum of N500 , 000 paid to
Justice Ademola by Awodein was not
meant to be a bribe but a gift for the
wedding of the judge’s daughter .
This came to the fore on Tuesday
when a DSS investigator , Mr.
Babatunde Adepoju , was testifying
before a High Court of the Federal
Capital Territory , Maitama, as the 16 th
prosecution witness in the ongoing
trial of Justice Ademola, his wife,
Olabowale and Agi .
Adepoju made the disclosure while
being cross - examined by defence
lawyers .
Justice Ademola, Olabowale and Agi ,
are being jointly prosecuted by the
Office of the Attorney General of the
Federation on charges, including
receiving and giving gratification to
influence the course of justice.
Among the 18 counts preferred against
the defendants , was an allegation that
on January 5 , 2015 , in his capacity as
a public servant , Justice Ademola
“ corruptly received ” from Agi a BMW
Saloon 320 i valued at N8 .5 m through
his son, Ademide Ademola, as
gratification in the exercise of his
official functions as a judge.
The prosecution also alleged in about
five other counts , that Justice Ademola,
through his wife, received gratification
of N 30 m in three instalments of N 10 m
each from Agi between March 11 and
March 26 , 2015 .
Under cross - examination on Tuesday ,
Adepoju confirmed that in the course
of investigating the case against the
defendants , he interrogated and took
the statements of Justice Ademola and
Agi only.
The witness also confirmed that Agi
had disclosed the information of
Awodein’ s payment of N 500 ,000 to
Justice Ademola to him (Adepoju ), in
the course of interrogation .
He also confirmed that Agi had
explained under interrogation that the
N30 m he paid into Olabowale’s
account was the money contributed by
his and Justice Ademola’s mutual
friends for the judge’s daughter ’s
wedding.
The witness , who had concluded his
evidence- in - chief on Monday ,
confirmed under cross - examination
that, among those who, like many
other friends , sent monetary gifts to
Justice Ademola about the time of his
daughter ’s wedding in 2015 was
Awodein.
Awodein used to be a lawyer in the
defence team of the then presidential
candidate of the All Progressives
Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu
Buhari (retd .), (now the President),
who was faced with a series of suits
seeking his disqualification from
participating in the March 28 , 2015
presidential election for failing to
submit his academic certificates to the
Independent National Electoral
Commission .
Adepoju confirmed that Agi had said
under interrogation that while the
certificate case filed by one Mr.
Chukwunweike Okafor was pending
before Justice Ademola, Awodein paid
the sum of N 500 ,000 into the judge’s
account as gift for the judge’s
daughter ’s wedding.
The encounter between Agi ’s lawyer,
Mr. Jeph Njikonye , and Adepoju went
thus:
Lawyer : In that interview , he (Agi) told
you that the wedding gift passed by
Ken Hubert and Bassey Nassey was not
the only wedding gift .
Witness: Yes .
Lawyer : He (Agi) also told you that
Buhari’s lawyer , Mr. President’s
lawyer, also passed a gift of N500 , 000
to the family through him.
Witness: Yes
Lawyer : The name of the lawyer is Mr.
Kola Awodein (SAN ).
Witness: Yes
Lawyer : The third defendant (Agi )
further informed you that within the
period (before and after the wedding )
that Buhari’ s certificate case was
pending before the first defendant
(Justice Ademola).
Witness: Yes
Lawyer : Was President Buhari’s lawyer
paying the money in order to win his
case?
Witness: No
Lawyer : To say that it (the money paid
by Awodein ) was a bribe would be a
speculation .
Witness: Yes
Lawyer : To describe the gifts passed
through the third defendant by mutual
friends as bribe would be speculative .
Witness: Yes
When earlier cross - examined by Chief
Robert Clarke , Olabowale’ s lawyer, the
witness agreed that in African culture ,
it was usual for people to be
“ showered with gifts ” when having
any of naming , wedding and funeral
ceremonies .
On the BMW car gift , Adepoju
confirmed that the judge’s son,
Ademide, said under interrogation
that Agi was his mentor and that the
car was a fulfilment of a long -
promised gift from the Senior
Advocate of Nigeria.
The witness also admitted that the
initial allegations that Justice Ademola
received bribe from the immediate -
past National Security Adviser , Col .
Sambo Dasuki (retd .), as well as from
the leader of the Indigenous People of
Biafra , Mr. Nnamdi Kanu , for the bail
he granted them , were not backed by
evidence.
He said he confirmed in the course of
investigation that the Federal
Government did not oppose either of
the two accused persons ’ bail
applications when heard by Justice
Ademola.
The witness also confirmed that a
magistrate earlier granted bail to
Kanu but the order of bail was not
complied with.
He said he was not aware if the
magistrate had been put on trial .
On the allegation that the N30 m paid
to the judge’s wife was probably a
bribe for an order of garnishee nisi
granted in favour of Agi ’s clients for
the enforcement of a $ 3 . 2 bn judgment
earlier given by the judge, Adepoju
confirmed that, his “ initial view of the
matter is based on incomplete
knowledge .”
The lead prosecuting counsel , Mr.
Segun Jegede , announced after the
defence lawyers finished cross -
examining Adepoju and the witness
subsequently re - examined, on
Tuesday , that the prosecution had
closed its case.
Jegede called three bankers as
additional prosecution witnesses on
Tuesday .
With a total of 19 witnesses, he
announced that the prosecution had
closed its case.
But the defence lawyers said they
would file no - case submission.
The trial judge, Justice Jude Okeke,
directed that the defence must file the
no- case submission and the
prosecution should respond before
March 19 .
He fixed March 19 for the hearing of
the no - case submission.

The Peoples Democratic Party and
major groups , including the Nigeria
Voters ’ Assembly and the National
Association of Resident Doctors , on
Tuesday , differed on the latest
development on President
Muhammadu Buhari’ s medical
vacation.
While the NVA said the President’s
statement on his health was a message
of hope , the PDP said it wished the
President well .
The NARD said his absence could
create some gaps , which could lead to
power play at the federal level.
Buhari had , on Tuesday , said the
results of a series of checkups he
carried out in the course of his medical
vacation had shown that he needed
longer period of rest.
He said this necessitated his staying
back in London longer than initially
planned .
The President said this in a four -
paragraph statement made available to
journalists by his Special Adviser on
Media and Publicity , Mr. Femi
Adesina.
Adesina did not disclose how long the
President’s “ longer period of rest”
would take .
He, however , thanked Nigerians for
their prayers and good wishes while
assuring them that there was no cause
for worry.
The statement read , “ The President is
immensely grateful for the prayers ,
show of love and concern.
“ President Buhari wishes to reassure
Nigerians that there is no cause for
worry.
‘”During his normal annual checkup,
tests showed he needed a longer
period of rest , necessitating the
President staying longer than
originally planned . ”
The President of NARD, Dr . Onyebueze
Ugochukwu, urged Nigerians to pray
for the quick recovery of the President.
He prayed that the Acting President
would sustain the fight against
corruption and insurgency .
Ugochukwu believed that the absence
of the President would create some
gaps in communication, decision -
making and implementation .
“ These gaps may lead to some internal
bickering and power play . This is
bound to happen when those in his
management team depart from project
Nigeria to pursue personal interest ,”
he stated .
Aso , the National Publicity Secretary of
the Yoruba socio - cultural group, Yinka
Odumakin, said the cabal around the
President would put pressure on the
Acting President, Prof . Yemi Osinbajo .
He said , “ The implication of his long
stay is that the country would
technically pause for the period he is
going to be away . There would be a lot
of power play with the cabal around
the President, breathing down the
neck of the Acting President with ‘the
President said ’ even when he did not
say. They may even sign things in his
name knowing that the Acting
President does not have regular access.
“ We are in for a season of dual
Presidency as the power bloc around
the President will maximise this
season. The President should be
commended for transmitting power to
his deputy unlike Yar’ Adua, who did
not transfer power or possibly had his
transmission seized by the cabal .”
In his reaction, the President of the
NVA, Mashood Erubami , in an
interview with The PUNCH in Abuja,
said Nigerians should be happy that
the evil wishes of some unnamed
enemies for the President had not
come to pass .
He said , “ We should thank God for the
message from the President; a message
of hope , which should be well
managed to advance the cause of good
governance .
“ Hitherto , Nigerians were worried that
the President was not communicating
directly with them as they had to rely
on good faith with third party
information.
“ Now that he can be quoted to have
said he will stay longer to rest well
before he returns, he is only being
truthful and honest with Nigerians .
We should all be happy that the evil
wishes of the enemies of progress have
not come to pass .”
Also, the Executive Secretary Anti -
Corruption Network , Ebenezer
Oyetakin, lauded the President’s
statement.
He said , “ I am sure that if the situation
gets to the extent that he can no longer
be the President, the Buhari that I
know will obviously take the path of
honour and be the first to so declare.
Nevertheless , he has obtained annual
leave legally ; he has transferred
Presidential power to his Vice -
President as required by the
constitution and has informed
Nigerians .”
The national leadership of the PDP
said it would continue to pray for
Buhari.
The Acting National Publicity Secretary
of the party, Mr. Bernard Mikko , stated
this in an interview with one of our
correspondents in Abuja on Tuesday .
Mikko stated , “ The President’s request
should be viewed in accordance with
our statutes. Though the terms of his
vacation have not been made clear to
most Nigerians , most Nigerians wish
him well . No patriotic Nigerian will
wish his President otherwise.
“ He can be excused within the ambit
of the law . I don ’t know the status of
his health and can ’t comment on his
physical or mental suitability .
“ From the age of 50 , who is 100 per
cent healthy ?”

Bukola Saraki , on Tuesday , briefed
members of the Senate on his trip to
the United Kingdom to visit Buhari.
Saraki, Speaker of the House of
Representatives , Mr. Yakubu Dogara ;
and the Majority Leader of the Senate,
Senator Ahmad Lawan , had on
Wednesday , last week, met with
Buhari, who is on leave in London ,
attending to his health .
When the lawmakers resumed from a
three- week recess on Tuesday , the
Senate President, during the plenary ,
first read Buhari’s letter to the
legislature on the extension of his
leave.
Saraki had received the letter during
the recess . It was dated February 5 ,
2017, the last day of the President’s
initial 10 - day leave.
The letter read , “ Further to my letter
dated January 18 , 2017 , in which I
notified the distinguished Senate of
taking part of my annual leave .
“ During my leave, I took the
opportunity to have routine check - ups
and consult my long - standing doctors
in London .
“ In the course of the routine
examinations , certain test results
indicated the need for a course of
medications and further appointments
have been scheduled for next week.
“ I am , therefore, notifying the
Distinguished Senate that I am
extending my leave until the doctors
are satisfied that certain factors are
ruled out. In the circumstances, the
vice- president will continue to act on
my behalf .”
After reading the letter , Saraki said ,
“ Further to the correspondence from
Mr. President, let me also use this
opportunity to brief my colleagues on
the visit . I led a delegation of myself,
the Honourable Speaker and the
Majority Leader to visit Mr. President,
Buhari, on Wednesday , February 15 ,
to convey the greetings and best
wishes of the National Assembly and I
am happy to report that we met the
President in good spirits ; in good
health; chatty as usual ; and conveys
his best wishes and hopes to be back
very soon.”

A 45-year-old commercial driver, Lawrence Adedapo, has been sentenced to seven years in prison by an Ado Ekiti High Court for raping an 80-year-old woman, Madam Grace Asaolu. Adedapo had sexually assaulted the octogenarian on November 7, 2013, at Oke Erimope Street, Ogbese, Ise-Ekiti in Ise/Orun Local Government Area of Ekiti State and was subsequently charged to court. He had pleaded not guilty to the charge when he was brought to court and had given evidence in his own defence and did not call any witness. He had claimed in his testimony during the trial that the old woman as his “mother as well as his concubine” whom he has been dating as far back as his bachelor years. He claimed that the victim, Mrs Asaolu had framed him up, and alleged that the old woman had earlier approached him for some money to travel to her village, but on that date, she walked into his room and demanded for the money. According to Adedapo, Asaolu had started romancing him, which eventually led to a sexual intercourse after he had given her N1,000. The prosecution led by the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Owoseni Ajayi, gave evidence that the convict claimed in his confession to have been dating the woman before the incident and that she consented to the sexual intercourse. But Ajayi tendered the bloodstained clothes of the victim, which was recovered from the scene of the incident. In his judgement, Justice Dele Omotoso convicted Adedapo based on the evidence before the court, which he said showed that the driver forcefully had a carnal knowledge of the old woman. Justice Omotoso pronounced Adedapo guilty as charged, after he had resolved all issues for determination against him. Akinrinmola, has been arrested by the
men of the Ogun State Police
Command for allegedly shooting his
rival, Ademola Asimiyu , to death over
a woman both of them were dating .
A police source said the incident

autopsy .
Meanwhile, the state Commissioner of
Police, Ahmed Iliyasu , has ordered
that the suspect be transferred to
Homicide Section of the State Criminal
Investigation and Intelligence
Department , Eleweran , Abeokuta , for
further investigation .
Iliyasu warned residents of the state of
consequences of jungle justice,
stressing that the law would deal
decisively with anyone caught taking
laws into his own hand.
He described the incident as barbaric
which “ is not acceptable in any sane
society.”

In a free - market economy , anyone
can make as much money as they
want ,” emphasizes self - made
millionaire Steve Siebold, who has also
studied over 1 ,200 of the world’s
wealthiest people.
And it’s never too early to start . To
help you reach the seven- figure mark
by 30 , we rounded up nine pieces of
advice from people who became
millionaires at a young age , as well as
those who have studied hundreds of
self- made millionaires .
We can ’ t guarantee millionaire status ,
but doing these things won ’t hurt your
odds.
1. Focus on earning
“ In today ’s economic environment you
cannot save your way to millionaire
status ,” writes Grant Cardone , who
went from broke and in debt at 21 to
self- made millionaire by 30 . “ The first
step is to focus on increasing your
income in increments and repeating
that.
“ My income was $ 3 ,000 a month and
nine years later it was $ 20 ,000 a
month . Start following the money , and
it will force you to control revenue and
see opportunities .”
Earning more money is often easier
said than done , but most people have
options. Read about 50 ways to bring
in additional income, some high-
paying jobs you can do on the side ,
how you can earn passive income, and
the first step to take before starting
any business , from an entrepreneur
who earns up to $ 170 ,000 a month .
2. Develop multiple streams of income
One way to earn more is to increase
your streams of income. In author
Thomas C. Corley’s five - year study of
self- made millionaires , he found that
many of them develop multiple
streams of income: 65 % had three
streams , 45 % had four streams , and
29 % had five or more streams . These
additional streams include real - estate
rentals, stock market investments , and
part- ownership in a side business .
“ Three streams of income seems to be
the magic number for the self - made
millionaires in my Rich Habits study,
but the more income streams you can
create in life , the more secure will
your financial house be , ” he writes .
3. Save to invest , don’ t save to save
Writes Cardone : “ The only reason to
save money is to invest it. Put your
saved money into secured , sacred
(untouchable ) accounts . Never use
these accounts for anything , not even
an emergency . This will force you to
continue to follow step one (increase
income). To this day, at least twice a
year, I am broke because I always
invest my surpluses into ventures I
cannot access. ”
Investing is not as complicated or
daunting as we make it out to be . The
simplest starting point is to contribute
to your 401 (k ) if your employer offers
one, and take full advantage of your
company’ s 401 (k ) match program —
which is essentially free money — if it
has one.
Next , consider contributing money
toward a Roth IRA or traditional IRA,
individual retirement accounts with
different contribution limits and tax
structures — which one you can use
depends on your income. If you still
have money left over, you can
research low - cost index funds, which
Warren Buffett recommends , and look
into the online - investment platforms
known as “ robo- advisers. ”
The key to consistently setting aside
money is to make it automatic . That
way , you’ ll never even see the money
you’re contributing and you’ ll learn to
live without it.
4. Don’t show off — show up
“ I didn ’t buy my first luxury watch or
car until my businesses and
investments were producing multiple
secure flows of income, ” writes
Cardone. “ I was still driving a Toyota
Camry when I had become a
millionaire. Be known for your work
ethic , not the trinkets that you buy .”
Need inspiration to save more and
spend less ? Read up on tips and
strategies from regular people who
saved enough of their incomes to
retire before 40 .
5. Change your mindset about money
“ Getting rich begins with the way you
think and what you believe about
making money ,” self- made millionaire
Steve Siebold explains .
At the end of the day, “ The secret has
always been the same: thinking ,” he
emphasizes. While the masses believe
becoming wealthy is out of their
control, rich people know that making
money is really an inside job . ”
6. Invest in yourself
“ The safest investment I ’ve ever made
is in my future, ” writes Tucker
Hughes, who became a millionaire at
22 . “ Read at least 30 minutes a day,
listen to relevant podcasts while
driving and seek out mentors
vigorously . You don ’ t just need to be a
master in your field , you need to be a
well - rounded genius capable of talking
about any subject whether it is
financial, political or sports related .
Consume knowledge like air and put
your pursuit of learning above all
else. ”
Many modern - day successful and
wealthy people are voracious readers.
Take Warren Buffett, for example, who
estimates that 80 % of his working day
is dedicated to reading .
7. Set goals and visualize achieving them
If you want to make more money , you
have to have a clear goal and then a
specific plan for how to achieve that
goal . Money won ’t just appear — you
have to work at it.
Rich people choose to commit to
attaining wealth. It takes focus,
courage, knowledge , and a lot of
effort, self - made millionaire T . Harv
Eker emphasizes, and it’ s possible if
you have precise goals and a clear
vision: “ The number one reason most
people don ’ t get what they want is that
they don ’t know what they want . Rich
people are totally clear that they want
wealth. ”
8. Hang out with people you admire
Andrew Carnegie, who started with
nothing before becoming the richest
man in the US , credits all of his riches
to one principle : the Master Mind .
The idea is to surround yourself with
talented people who share your vision,
because the alignment of several smart
and creative minds is exponentially
more powerful than just one.
Plus , we become like the people we
associate with , which is why the rich
tend to associate with others who are
rich.
“ In most cases, your net worth mirrors
the level of your closest
friends ,” explains Siebold. “ Exposure to
people who are more successful than
you are has the potential to expand
your thinking and catapult your
income. The reality is , millionaires
think differently from the middle class
about money , and there’ s much to be
gained by being in their presence. ”
9. Shoot for $10m , not $ 1m
“ The single biggest financial mistake
I’ ve made was not thinking big
enough,” writes Cardone . “ I encourage
you to go for more than a million .
There is no shortage of money on this
planet , only a shortage of people
thinking big enough.”

The Deputy President of the Senate,
Senator Ike Ekweremadu , on Monday,
took a swipe at the All Progressives
Congress administration led by
President Muhammadu Buhari , saying
the economy has suffered more crisis
under the new government.
Ekweremadu said this at the Peoples
Democratic Party’ s national
stakeholders’ meeting held at the Ekiti
State Governor’s Lodge , Asokoro,
Abuja, on Monday.
The Deputy Senate President, while
decrying the worsening economic
conditions of the country , alleged that
“ all APC promises had been kept in the
reverse order .”
He was quoted by his Special Adviser
on Media , Mr Uche Anichukwu , as
saying , “ They told us that one US
dollar would be one naira when they
take over. Has that happened ? Today,
our currency is the worst currency in
the whole of Africa . Is that the type of
democracy we looked forward to ? I
can see a situation where the price of
oil is going up and the value of naira
is going down . What type of economics
is that?”
Ekweremadu , however, enjoined PDP
faithful to remain strong as the party
would “ work with Nigerians to restore
true democracy and hope to our
people.”
He said , “ I believe that with
determination and sticking together ,
we will triumph and Nigeria will be
better for it.”
The Deputy Senate President also
condemned what he described as the
manipulation of vital institutions of
democracy and radical decline of
democratic freedoms in Nigeria .
He also said the solidarity of all key
organs of the PDP for the Senator
Ahmed Makarfi- led National Caretaker
Committee , despite the recent
judgment of the Court of Appeal on the
party’s leadership tussle , showed that
“ it is not the hood that makes the
monk.”
Ekweremadu , while condemning the
sealing of the International
Conference Centre, Abuja, the earlier
announced venue of the meeting, by
the security agencies , said that “ such
flagrant manipulation of critical
institutions of democracy is not only
dangerous ,
but bad news for the nation’s
democracy .”
He said , “ We are aware that all the
institutions of democracy are being
manipulated and harassed in this
country . The National Assembly and
the press are not left out . The
Independent National Electoral
Commission has been captured and
now a part of the APC . Our judiciary is
being insulted and assaulted every
day. Their houses are being attacked
very late at night and the judges are
being harassed .
“ So, we are not surprised at what we
are seeing today (sealing of meeting
venue )? But what remains is for us to
remain resolute .”
The Deputy Senate President expressed
his displeasure at what he described as
the rising political persecution in the
country .
He said , “ If you look around this room ,
you will see a lot of people who are
being harassed, persecuted and taken
to court. What is their offence ? They
claim they allegedly received stolen
property, yet , nobody has been
arraigned for the actual stealing . As a
lawyer, I know that if you are being
arraigned for receiving stolen
property, you must first of all arraign
the man who stole the property. That
is not so in our own case . Is that
democracy ?”
Ekwememadu urged party members to
remain resolute and protect the soul of
the PDP and the nation’s democracy ,
insisting that the party leaders were
made by the party faithful and could
never be imposed from the outside .
He said , “ We have heard there was a
judgment in Port Harcourt . Now , those
who benefitted from the judgment ,
where are they ? Are they with our
former ministers ? Are they with our
National Assembly members ? Are they
with our governors ? Which organ of
the party are they with or is with
them ? The truth is that it is not the
hood that makes the monk .”

Special Assistant to the President on
Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba
Shehu has said it took President
Muhammadu Buhari’s leadership to
halt Boko Haram ’s march towards Aso
Rock in 2015 .
He also announced that Nigeria now
ranks as the world’ s second largest
producer of rice .
Shehu said this at a special interactive
session with students of various
tertiary institutions , in Abuja, on
Saturday .
The event was organised by the Pro -
Buhari Support for Good Governance
in Nigeria .
He assured members of the group that
their support for the President would
not be in vain noting that as an
individual , Buhari has attained heights
most men can only dream about .
According to him, in his youth, the
President chose a career in the
military and rose to become an army
general and went on to become
military Head- of - State .
On the war against Boko Haram
terrorists, Shehu said , “ Look at all of
the way the efforts that have been put
in rolling back Boko Haram ; there are
many people who believe that if not
for President Muhammadu Buhari, had
PDP continued in this country in 2015 ,
they would have taken over Aso Rock
by now . ”
On the economy he said , “ The
president is working hard to
restructure the economy , this is very
much misunderstood by Nigerians .
Unfortunately , it is easier to destroy
than to build .
“ We met a situation that the economy
had been ravaged and people are used
to lifestyles that can no longer be
sustained. No country will develop
when you are having to import
everything including tooth pick and
tissue paper.
“ All of the money earned was just
going to buy food . As I speak to you
now Nigeria just achieved the record
of the second largest of rice in the
world.
“ The rice revolution just started a year
ago. A newspaper did an investigation
in Kebbi and they found out that there
were 48 ,000 new millionaires in Kebbi
state alone for growing rice . Over
reliance on oil has killed this country
and we cannot continue like this.”

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose ,
has said politicians should allow
President Muhammadu Buhari to
enjoy his rest and stop disturbing him
with needless visits.
He also said he remained a committed
member of the Peoples Democratic
Party loyal to Ahmed Makarfi- led
faction despite the Court of Appeal
judgment recognising Alimodu Sheriff
as the National Chairman .
He said , “ We are not going anywhere .
The matter has been appealed. In
elections, three things are important :
party, candidate and people. We have
the people. The power of the people is
greater than the machinations of the
people working against us.”
The governor spoke on a live
programme tagged , ‘Meet Your
Governor’ aired on the state- owned
Ekiti Television and Radio Stations on
Saturday .
Fayose , while praying for sound health
for the president, said his desire for a
better Nigeria accounted for why he
had been criticising the Federal
Government when things were not
done the right way .
He explained that he had stopped
criticising the president since he
travelled abroad for medical attention
because anyone could fall sick and the
president should be allowed to enjoy
his rest .
“ I don ’ t have any problem with the
president; the only problem I have is
with his handlers. They will say
something today and say another
tomorrow . Anybody can fall sick .
“ I have not been criticising the
president because he is sick . When he
comes back and he is not doing the
right thing , we will continue to
criticise him, ” he said .
Describing the visits by some All
Progressives Congress chieftains to the
president as a make- belief and too
much of eye service , Fayose said it
would not have been necessary if the
people knew the truth from the onset .
“ It is God that gives power to whoever
He wills. As humans , we can fall sick .
But people should allow him to rest .
“ Some people are visiting him to
convince people that he is well ; that is
a make- belief and too much of eye -
service .”
The governor said he would use the
forthcoming international women’s
day to celebrate and promote women
in Ekiti.
Lamenting that many of them were
educated but lacked exposure, Fayose
said many of them were dying in
silent because the men were not
showing enough love and care .
“ So many women are in pains today
because some husbands had become
terrors at home . We must consciously
promote women, show love to them
and assist them .”
He urged women to establish support
groups that will champion their cause
while promising to appoint more of
them in his government .
