I am now caught between two fires: an Algerian among Nigerians, and a Nigerian among Algerians. I hope the better team wins, even though I lean toward Nigeria.

As a potential opponent, I don't know if to trust you or not. grin

Can any Nigerian here confirm this abeg? Is Calvin Bassey eligible to play in the quarter finals?
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Bouadi97: 10:35am On Jan 06
Hello everyone, congratulations to us on the win and the performance.
Guys, Bassey will not miss the next match. The yellow cards received in the group stage are canceled in the knockout rounds, except in the case of a red card or two yellow cards in the group stage, which would result in suspension for the Round of 16. In Bassey’s case, he is available for the quarterfinals and will not be suspended

I didn’t know how to reply to each of you individually,
so I hope this can be taken as a general response.
I — or rather, all of us — admit that corruption exists within our African continent, and that everyone uses their influence. A clear example of this today is Motsepe and Lekjaa.
I also do not deny the negative behavior of some of our fans (in North Africa), but that does not justify all this hatred.
I love Nigeria, and I have been with you on this forum since 2018. However, recently I have noticed many people expressing hatred toward North Africa, which is why I decided to respond.
My dream is to see Nigeria crowned champions of Africa, to make up for our disappointment of not qualifying for the World Cup.

This happens in all regions and countries.
When a country in the West hosts a tournament, it feels as though the officials are biased in its favor; the same is true in the East and in the South.
A clear example is South Africa, which played 7 out of 10 qualification matches at home, and the same applies to Morocco.
This shows that corruption exists throughout Africa, not only in the North or the South.

Why do I see so many of you in this forum being against North Africa?
I am from Algeria, and I love Nigeria and follow all of its matches from 2004 up to the present day.
