Unpleasantly disappointed by gionee.

Our hopes fly away .

They push us to switch to other brand.....not good at all.

No marshmalow update for M5 ...it s mean this model is outdated ....very disapointed by Gionee.
the other brands steps to Nougat

Like this we are already too late comparing to others...it s one of the reasons people will left Gionee and switch to other that what i saw in some forums.

That msg will alws be dia wen u restart ur fone or when it comes on provided you have turned off the update. If ur fone doesn't go off, you wont see it

I updated it :

I do the same as you many times with 2 different TWRP for M5 but not TWRP installed.
Till i found a post.

Flash the TWRP as you do before with SP after the green window don't disconnect or power on the mobile just keep it as and repeat the flash twice (two times) after disconnect it and boot on recovery mode.
I don't have the explanation for that its appear no logical..... but it work.

i wanted to root my m5, hence i try installing TWRP using SP_FLASH Tools. I discovered it successfully displayed flashed with the Green Ticked.
"TWRP Recovery is now installed on your Gionee Marathon M5, to boot to recovery mode, simply press and hold Volume Down button + press Power button" can't seems to find "Team win".

Refused to install TWRP.....what could be wrong?
