Saying “That’s a senseless question” usually says more about the person who said it than about the one who asked.

Here’s why:

1. Every question has a purpose.
A person asks to learn, clarify, or understand. Even what may seem “obvious” to one person might be a mystery to another. No one grows in knowledge by pretending to know everything.

2. Calling a question senseless can reveal pride or ignorance.
Often, those who dismiss questions do so because they either don’t know the answer or lack the patience or humility to explain. True wisdom is gentle and open to dialogue.

3. The greatest teachers welcome questions.
Even Jesus, the greatest teacher, never mocked anyone for asking. When Nicodemus asked, “How can a man be born when he is old?” (John 3:4), Jesus didn’t call it senseless — He used it as a teaching moment.

4. Asking questions shows a desire to grow.
Proverbs 18:15 (KJV) says:

> “The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.”

Those who ask questions are exercising wisdom, not foolishness.

Mike Ozekhome, senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN), says Nigeria is “gradually driving towards a one-party state” and dictatorship.

Recently, there have been waves of politicians defecting to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The latest defection was that of Uno Emo, governor of Akwa Ibom, who joined APC from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Ozekhome described the gale of defections as “bootlicking at its highest level”.

It's ironic how we perceive these oppressors as helping us when they open their borders with enticing visa schemes. They cleverly use us to develop their countries, and once they've achieved their goals, they tighten the restrictions on us with stricter visa requirements. They take the best of our talent to maintain their status as developed nations while draining the resources from so-called developing countries, ensuring they stay underdeveloped. I've been around for over 50 years, and I've never seen a developing country successfully transition to a developed country. It's quite disheartening! See what is happening in the US, UK, Canada, etc
