Safyqueen:Bloody liar. I hope every insult and curses on these politicians be upon you too. If there was item 2, would you need item 1? Ododo was in charge of Local Government and what funds for Salaries and Development under Yahaya Bello, you are aware of how many workers died, the ones unjustly accused and the ones still alive but been owed lots of money... Even the Ododo as Governor is not paying Salaries 100%. Is it the same Ododo that directed that all Government house workers that belonged to a certain Ethnic group should be all sacked and some transferred? Who you dey whine? Nor be Una fault, an exposé that was not written when the former Governor of Kogi State used power in it's illegality while in Office, the oppressions, disregard for court order, laundering of public wealth, etc... This is not the eyes of the law, it is the eyes of those Kogites who were oppressed, who were not paid their due wages, who were short changed at every corner of their civil rights, who had no access to basic amenities, those that wailed at the death of loved ones because they were never paid for job done... Mr. Writer, civil disobedience, media trial and public harassment of this culprit is in order here. |

The Court of Appeal has set aside the Lokoja High Court order against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and its Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, in a contempt case filed by Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello. The Court of Appeal, presided over by Justice Joseph O.K. Oyewole, granted the EFCC’s motion for a stay of execution and proceedings in the contempt case, pending before the Kogi State High Court. The court held that the motion ex parte had merit and adjourned the hearing of the motion on notice to May 20, 2024. It also ordered substituted service of all processes in the case to be pasted at Yahaya Bello’s last known address in Abuja. The appellate court’s decision has halted the contempt proceedings against the EFCC and its chairman, and allows the appeal filed by the anti-graft agency against the ruling of the Lokoja High Court to proceed.
