Usefulsense: Last year, I sought the opinion of Nairalanders concerning my plan to move to Australia. My major worry was my age (48) and also considering that my net salary in Nigeria was a little over a million Naira per month as the financial controller of a manufacturing company in Onitsha.
Below is the link to the thread I opened to seek peoples advice and I recommend that you go through the thread to fully appreciate the story that follows.
. I promised to tell my story after 3 months of my stay in Australia.
I finally left Nigeria on December 7th, 2023 and arrived the country on December 9th with my children. Today, I am exactly 3 months, 2 weeks and 6 days old in Sydney, australia.
This is not a hearsay, it is not an eye witness account, it is my story.
This is intended to guide people who maybe planning to travel outside Nigeria. Should you migrate at an age over 45 or not?
Those who told me not to go are right and those who told me to travel are also right.
Given another opportunity, will I take the decision to move out of Nigeria at 48? Have I made a mistake? How am I surviving?
You will find out in this thread.
To be continued shortly ......... Nice moments indeed. Pls how much do I need to move to Australia? |
Travel › Re: CANADA: A Nigerian Family Says They Face ‘Persecution’ If Deported, Beg To Stay by boxypane: 10:50pm On Mar 30, 2024 |
FreeStuffsNG: Adegboye said she sees the deportation order from federal immigration officials as a death sentence for her family, which now includes two more children who were born in Canada.
She issued a plea for Canada to reverse the deportation so she can continue to build a life for her children and care for her patients.
Obviously, she's lying! The family is lying by raising religious persecution. They are Yoruba and in Yorubaland there's no religious persecution. The 3 religion of Christianity, Islam and Yoruba traditional Isese religion exist side by side even in every family and community. She should have been honest enough to state the main reason instead of denigrating her place.
This is what you get when you build your lives on lies. Truth will eventually catch up with you.
If you check her background now, she's probably one of those educated with tax payers money and on graduation deserted the nation for a Kano country that made zero investment in their lives.
We have patients in Nigeria too and we need more health workers too.
God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs! If officials see this your writeup, na today d whole family go come Nigeria. |

I think State Policing is a welcome idea, my only problem is the level of impunity these Governors will perpetrate over controlling state Police. They've already done damages to the economy by making their states unproductive. Just imagine a state like Kogi with second highest deposit of mineral resources, borrowing over N20b from CBN to pay salaries, who go pay state police officers? |

Massiveglory: It is so shameful to see that in the midst of a collasped economy and very high cost of goods ,services and commodities, What tinubu and his team spend time on is to throw useless propangandas of praising and hailing failures and cluesss entities for 1 dollar to 1400. Buhari who we thought was the most clueless Nigeria ever had left at 700 to a dollar. It is about 1400 to a dollar and people who say they are humans donate themselves to be used to promote cluessness and failures.
Tinubu is a disaster. This goes to show that you are actually not educated on comparing both regime, even after Kingsley broke it down plain. Please read again, I no go teach you. |

Arobaga: Nobody is expecting Tinubu the certificate forger to bring naira down to N400
All we’re saying is he should return it to where Buhari left it
Like can’t believe a day will come when we will all be wishing to return the economy to Buhari era
Tinubu you’ll crumble
You’ll go down the history of Nigeria as the worst thing that has ever happened to Africa at large Obedient sighted. They don't reason beyond their nose. Unfortunately for you, Obi shall never be President of Nigeria. Na your President you dey embarrass, you actually are embarrassing yourself. |
