After four months of living apart, after four months of being a temporary bachelor i finally joined my wonderful wife via Tier 2 Dependant visa route. Tier 2 Dependent Visa is issued to the spouse, child or family member of a Tier 2 visa holder. A Tier 2 Visa is a visa that falls under the Points Based System (PBS), established for foreigners living outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland, to come and work in the UK.

I arrived the UK first week of November via Ethiopian Airline and I must confess that EA is not as bad as people claim. In flight entertainment and the food were on point. We had a 3 hours stopover at Ethiopia, one hour at Brussel but didnt stepped down from the plane. We then transit from Brussel to the UK.

I am yet to get a job in my area of speciality, but i cant be indoors all day so i opted for a blue collar job that fetches me 8.50 pounds per hour and I have the opportunity to work seven days of the week if i so wish. Do i have any regret doing blue collar jobs, NO. I cannot come and kill myself just because i am yet to get a white collar job. Las las Bills will not pay itself.

Welcome everyone!
