The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission says 172 Nigerians evacuated from Uganda and Kenya arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at 10:20 am on Wednesday. This was disclosed in a statement by the Media, Public Relations, and Protocol Unit, Mr Gabriel Odu. He said that the evacuees arrived via @flyairpeace Flight B777-200 from Nairobi, the Kenyan capital. According to him, some of the evacuees disembarked at the airport in Abuja while others proceeded to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. “The exercise was put together by our Mission in Nairobi, Kenya in collaboration with the Mission in Kampala, Uganda. |
She was once my best friend but now she doesn't even want to see me.. It all started like this.. I met her back then in college during prep. She was kind,friendly and cool to be with. We made the best of friends all our stay in college and we never for once mentioned the we love each other. Whenever she was in need, i was there likewise vice versa. Till one day i decided to tell her how i truely feel about her knowing that she just got off from a previous relationship.. Now she hardly even talks to me or even want me around. Please where did i go wrong? |
Since the outbreak of the deadly pandemic virus, we Nigerians have experienced alot of hardship and refusals in some of our every day services. Nigeria however has has been one of the few countries fighting seriously to bring an end to the deadly diseases in the country. However, it has come to a fact that most Nigerians do not have the daily infrastructure to keep them satisfied and indoor as instructed by the higher authorities. Most people then say that it is not okay for them t be treated that way and that the government should do something. What do you think? |
The National Union of Road Transport Workers has commended the Federal Government for lifting the ban on interstate travel in the country. Acting General Secretary of the union, Kabiru Yau, called on the government to subsidise operation cost for motorists. He said the guidelines outlined by the government for the resumption of operations amid the coronavirus pandemic require operators to carry fewer passengers on each trip, thereby reducing their income. The made it clear that if they can't carry more passengers, then they have no other option but to increase the price. What do you think about this? |
