Most of us always fear that our phones may be stolen at any time.

Each phone carries a unique
IMEI no. i.e. International Mobile Equipment Identity No which can be used to track it anywhere in the world.

This is how it works:

Science/Technology / Honda Plans To Unveil Its In-car Virtual Assistant At The CES 2020 by braintechng: 9:25am On Dec 20, 2019
Looking Forward to a Tech year It's not just tech companies like Amazon, Google, and Apple that have their own AI-powered virtual assistants. Some car Manufacturers are working on similar technology. Indeed, Honda says it plans to show the world an early glimpse of its own in-car AI helper at Consumer Electronics Show CES 2020 next year.
The biggest technology conference in the world is happening soon, and I have a wish list of home security stuff I want to see there.
The helper will be appropriately known as the "Honda Personal Assistant," and the car manufacturer is making some pretty bold claims about its future capabilities. For starters, Honda says the Personal Assistant will feature "unprecedented" speed and accuracy for voice recognition. Given how much more further along other virtual assistants, such as Siri or Alexa are, this is a bit tough to believe without seeing it in action.
Regardless, Honda says its Assistant will accomplish this lofty task through its implementation of the patented Speech-to-meaning and Deep Meaning Understanding technologies, whatever those are.
In addition to fast, accurate response, Honda claims the Personal Assistant will be able to "understand context," such as where the vehicle is, or previous requests, to better assist drivers. These ideas are hardly revolutionary in the smart assistant field, but perhaps Honda has implemented them in a surprising or unique way.

Drivers will access the Honda Personal Assistant by saying "OK Honda," which is a pretty standard wake word among other AI helpers. It's unclear whether or not this wake word will be modifiable.
Another in-the-works project expected to be revealed by Honda at CES is its "Smartphone as Brain" technology, which will allegedly provide a "safe and convenient way" for drivers to use their mobile devices while on the road.

Music/Radio / A New Music Discovery Feature Called 'tastebuds' Was Uncovered For Spotify by braintechng: 12:42pm On Dec 19, 2019
The new tool will allow you to find new music by perusing the favorites of your friends

When its come to music streaming war with Apple Music continues on, Spotify is constantly trying to keep a step ahead of the Cupertino tech giant. This means frequently adding features even if they only turn out to be experimental. A new tool will apparently allow its users to find new music based on their friends' musical tastes.
Spotify has a new feature coming which allow its users to explore new music options through their friends’ preferences. The mode is called "Tastebuds" in a tongue-in-cheek reference to finding music that your friends enjoy, in other words, your buds’ taste in music.
These new feature was found by app researcher Jane Manchun Wong by reverse-engineering the web-based player. Not much is known about the tool since it has not officially been announced, but a placeholder page is already up on the Open Spotify Music player.
The page says, “Now you can discover music through friends whose taste you trust.”

Science/Technology / Seven Tips To Make Your Internet Connection Faster On Your Phone by braintechng: 9:31am On Dec 17, 2019
First, you can check the speed of your connection here. Below are the seven (7) tips to make Internet faster on your smartphone.

1. Set Your Network Connection to 3G or 4G

It is not news that 4G and 3G network modes are much faster than EDGE and 2G networks mode. A guy using a very nice smartphone came to me and was very worried about the internet speed on his phone, that his phone doesn't browse fast enough, In fact that he finds it difficult to upload photos on Facebook. He even suggested selling the phone thinking that it was a fault but when i collected the phone from him to check things out, I noticed this guy is on 2G network for many weeks and he wasn't even aware that it can be changed. Then i switched him to 3G and the network connection improved drastically. You see, some few phone users are ignorant of this.

So to speed up your data connection speed, you need to change your preferred network connection to 3G, WCDMA or 4G instead of GSM or EDGE

2. Uninstall Unnecessary Apps

Are you aware that many Android applications uses internet connection to work and to make things worst, some uses the Internet in background even when you aren't using the app. These apps drags the internet with other more useful apps which you constantly use on your phone so why allow such apps to remain installed in your phone?

I advise you to uninstall all the apps you don't normally use because they don't only slows the Internet connection but also makes your phone's performance slow as well as zapping your data unknowingly.

3. Clear the Cache in Your SmartPhone

This one might be controversial because in most cases, cache boosts internet speed especially with web browser apps, WhatsApp and Facebook. This is because these apps don't need to reload those saved data once you launch them thereby saving the time internet requires on your phone for processing information. But in some rare cases, cache can work alternatively so you might consider clearing cache memory.

Interestingly, clearing cache helps boost your phone performance as well as giving you more phone memory space especially if you are always short on device internal storage. To clear cache, go to phone Settings > applications > select apps > tap on clear cache. Note that this step might be slightly different from phones with different OS versions.

Phones / How To Check Availability Storage On An Iphone Or An Ipad by braintechng: 9:14am On Dec 04, 2019
How to Free up Storage Space
If you are lacking space on your iPhone or iPad and you have already tried deleting a few videos, photos and apps. There are some other things you could do.
Enable iCloud Photos

What iCloud Photos does is upload all your photos and videos to iCloud and then delete the old media files you have from your local storage.

This will only happen if you are low on storage space and you can download what you uploaded from iCloud whenever you want to.
To enable this, go to Settings, in the “Photos” section, turn “iCloud Photos” on (for phones running iOS 12 and below, this is titled “iCloud Photo Library”). Then, ensure that “Optimize iPhone Storage” is checked (That's what will delete your old files).

Science/Technology / Top 15+ Digital Gift Cards To Get For Your Loved Ones This Period by braintechng: 11:11am On Nov 29, 2019
No, this is not my birthday month – and I am not celebrating any anniversary either. If you haven’t been checking important upcoming events on your calendar, though, you might not know that we are getting into the gifting season.
Digital Gift Ideas for Your Loved Ones This Season Digital Gift Ideas for Your Loved Ones This Season
Black Friday sales are coming up, we are steady entering the Yuletide season and the holidays are just around the corner. So that you don’t get stranded when coming up with gifts for your loved ones, though, we have developed this digital gift guide for you.
What are Digital Gifts?
digital gifts
Technology has changed the way we do a lot of things – from basic cooking of our food to how we see the world too. One of the best things that come with technology is e-commerce, and that has spawned into a new form of purchasing which brings about digital gifts.
Thus, as the name implies, digital gifts are those presents you get for your friends, family and loved ones without ever having to be in the same physical location as them.
Besides the obvious location advantage, there are a handful of other things that makes digital gifts an ideal pick for you this gifting season.
Some of the biggest reasons I vibe with, so to speak, are:
1. Minimization of Plastic Wrapping Damage
If you care about the environment, you will know that we currently have too much plastic waste than we should be dealing with. Seeing as plastic is non-biodegradable, and this part of the world doesn’t have a solid recycling system in place, it just makes sense not to contribute to the environmental rot even further.
This can be achieved with digital gifts since they do not need to be wrapped or unwrapped before sending them to a recipient.
Speaking of wrapping…
2. Ease of Deliverance
Digital gifts can be sent in the nick of time. Since they are delivered online, you can purchase them at any time and send them instantly. This makes it more convenient and faster than other forms of gifts which can take many days to arrive, or not even arrive at all.
Besides, you also get to save on shipping costs which would have been associated with many other gifts. Since an email delivery is what most of these digital gifts require, you can get a better value for your money when you purchase one.
3. Last-Minute Purchase
So, you forgot to get something for Preecy and it’s now too late? The pair of shoes you’d like to order for Kalief won’t get here in another two weeks, and you’d prefer to get it in one? Don’t fret.
Browse the list of gifts we have curated for you below and they can be delivered the very instant you get them. This way, even if you forget a friend’s birthday, omitted their name from the shopping list or any of such mistakes, you can always make up for it in the last instant.
4. Functionality
