He shouldn't add Edo state to Biafra because it will NEVER be apart of it. The edos and Biafrans have never agreed to be apart of eachother in history EVER. Biafra is for the igbos and anyone else who wishes to be apart of Biafra. Simon ekpa shouldn't add Edo to Biafra as biafran territory occupied are only in igboland |
QuotaSystem:I hope your not referring to Simon ekpa The reason why IPOB stopped the sit at home was because they had enough of gunmen using an excuse to attack civilians in sit at home |
Before that twitter post will twist the words, the pope condemned BOTH SIDES saying it's terrorism |
IPOB has said this before |
The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ife/Akpodim/Chokoneze ward, Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, Smith Chiedoziem Anyanwu, was killed by a group of gunmen.Dozie was shot dead on Wednesday, November 23, 2023, at his home and place of work. He was killed in front of his wife, according to the report. The party’s director of new media, Lancelot Obiak, admitted the incident to reporters in Owerri on Friday. ‘It is true that the incident happened. He was killed in front of his wife. According to witnesses, the killers were a pair of men and they were riding a motorcycle. When they arrived they met his wife and asked about her husband. As soon as they saw her husband, they fired several shots, made sure he was out of breath, and then left. The ward chief’s order shook the PDP family and his community to its very core, and his killing could not be more depressing, only after the party suffered a technical defeat in the November 11, 2023 gubernatorial election in the state. But after the Imo State gubernatorial election, an unnamed party woman recently threatened to harm him. Meanwhile, Emeka Chinedu, a federal lawmaker representing the good people of Ahiazu Mabais/Ezinihitte federal constituency, expressed shock and sadness at the death of Smith Chiedoziem Anyanwu.Reacting to the situation on Thursday, Chinedu condemned the murder and said an urgent and professional investigation is needed. Chinedu also extended his condolences to Smith’s family, friends, loving wife, children, and members of the People’s Democratic Party, saying the deceased was a beloved member of the federal electoral district and will be greatly missed. He also urged anyone with information that could assist in the investigation to contact authorities as soon as possible Source: https://igberetvnews.com/1457851/imo-state-gunmen-kill-pdp-ward-chairman/#forward |
Christistruth00:Ah yes referring to an ancient culture practice Igbos still marry anyone still today |
raymondFirstborn:Based on fact opobo is inhabited by the ndoki people |
raymondFirstborn:Looks like I know your town more then you |
Abagworo:Opobo is inhabited by ndoki people |
Ruke1989:Opobo is located to the east of the Kingdom of Bonny. Bonny and Opobo are of the same origin, both associated with the Ndoki people.[a] an Igbo subgroup.[3] Jubo Jubogha rose from slavery to lead the Anna Pepple chieftaincy house of Bonny |
Ruke1989:The second point is all yapping about how igbos don't treat their slaves well I beg you to give me a source of Anambra people mocking ebonyi |
Ruke1989:So you wrote a whole paragraph yapping about how ijaw treated their slaves good while igbos treated their slaves bad Also how did igbo reach opobo in the first place then? |
Christistruth00:Mtchewwww Opobo was founded by King Jaja (1821- 1891) in the 18th century and King Jaja was a former Igbo slave called JuboJubogha but renamed “Ja-Ja” by the Europeans because the name was too long to be called. He built Opobo from scratch and transformed it to a commercial Kingdom |
Christistruth00:Phuhuhu you've avoided my other points And now let's look at the stalemate issue I never said that there was a stalemate because the Nigerian troops were weak I said if Ojukwu was arrogant why was there a stalemate in the first place? And if they didn't want to fight the igbos why did they massacre 30K of them in Kano? Why did they attack them in 1945 + 1953? |
erico2k2:Wtf is this nonsense he was born in igboland therefore making him igbo I've got more sources that it's also igbo Opobo was founded by King Jaja (1821- 1891) in the 18th century and King Jaja was a former Igbo slave called JuboJubogha but renamed “Ja-Ja” by the Europeans because the name was too long to be called. He built Opobo from scratch and transformed it to a commercial Kingdom The Nwaotam cult emerged from the deity of ancient Ibani people called the Ottam people. These people were brought in mostly to satisfy the Europeans’ quest for human commodities in the 18th and 19th century. According to the memories of late captain High Crow of Liverpool (1791: P 201) who visited Bonny for trade, “the Ottam tribe are stout and robust and of a deeper black than any other tribes at Bonny. Their bodies and face are carved and tattooed in a frightful manner.” The Ottams were not only notable for the worship of spirits they called ‘Mmoh’; but were also brought into Bonny as adults, therefore the description ‘Ottam Mmku’ was made popular in Bonny. It was also in this line, that their working strength, tribal marks and rascality gave them another local phrase, Ottam Ahiriha. The Ibani tradition has it that the Nwa-Otam originated from a dark mythical grove in Mkpajekiri around Ohambele Ndoki. By this time, the Ndoki native, which included the Ottam tribes men, had started serving this ‘Mmoh’ gods believed to be heterosexual; and would organise dance during a season of the year. [/b] You just need to hear them speak. The people of Opobo and Bonny all speak one native language - Igbo. No other language whatsoever do they speak in addition. Neighbouring towns surrounding Bonny may still speak Ibani but Bonny town proper speaks pure Igbo. The first Igbo bible was written in Bonny Igbo, and the dialect is notable for saying, 'ike m' for 'me' which funny enough means 'my buttocks' in other Igbo dialects and 'ike gi' for 'you/yours' which means 'your buttocks' in other Igbo dialects. Chinua Achebe, in one of his books, had written about a funny Igbo christian interpreter from a distant land to his town who was known for saying, 'ike m' and 'ie gi', which confused the people of his village. Many of these people, though, bear 'Ibani' names such as Fiberesima etc. they barely know the meaning of in addition to Igbo names as well. They all practise Igbo customs, namely 'omugwo', and celebrate Igbo festivals they share in common with their Ndoki Igbo neighbours such as the Nwaotam festival. However, their dressing style is Rivers/Riverine style. |

Opobo will forever will be igboland Opobo was founded by King Jaja (1821- 1891) in the 18th century and King Jaja was a former Igbo slave called JuboJubogha but renamed “Ja-Ja” by the Europeans because the name was too long to be called. Opobo was found by an igbo man. You saying won't change anything |
Christistruth03:Going to your points again 1. That's funny because the blockaded happened in 1968 infact the war was a stalemate in 1968 before Nigeria decided to blockade the region despite peace treaties. And also if you have felt margilazied wouldn't it been reasonable to declare independence? Also Ojukwu did not declare war on Nigeria first it was the other way round 2. Starvation as a political weapon? Really? Are you stupid? He was begging for money for the civilians for food how was he using it for a political weapon? Are you really that slow? 3. What point are you making now? His head was big while the starvation happened? Are you saying Weimar of Germany laughed while the people starved due to the British? Do you think before you type? |
Christistruth03:I'll start by your post 1. Azikiwe was begging for peace however as he was begging for peace this does not insist that Ojukwu blockaded the Eastern region to get more money, the argument here is showing how Ojukwu let his children to death Azikiwe begging for peace doesn't show how Ojukwu led his children to be starved to death in huge quantities 2. I don't know who is "Banjo Ifeajuna Alele and Agbam" but I'll research them more and see what your post says is true now how does this assist that Ojukwu wasn't scared? If you had mentioned that he executed them wouldn't it mean that if the federal government had found out those pieces shown that they had the right to sentence to death? Your 1st point supports my claim of why it was reasonable for Ojukwu to have fled to ivory coast if he had executed them and the Nigerian troops found out he would be charged of murder and sentenced to death 3. "Modified" he did not execute him for begging peace, they were alleged that they were plotting against Ojukwu and hence executed however SOME authors classified this as biased |
Christistruth03:So by your logic he should've stayed while being captured and executed? Who does that? Also per bolded statement are you supporting my claims that Ojukwu didn't starve the people |
Christistruth03:A man who had surrendered in a war that would be declared wanted should stay there? What did you want him to do. Stay there and be executed? Are you high or something? and how did he lead 3 million biafrans to death if the Nigerian troops blockades the region where food was supposed to come in? Are you that stupid? This is basic Nigeria civil war knowledge
|
Chygoz01:Misread your post sorry bro Anyways they talk they're doing shows they cannot provide any evidence I've provided my own of how Nigeria did it |
LifeofDream:No truth here just loads of yapping and nonsense |
Even yabuku gwon indirectly admitted into blockading the region
|
Nigerian army blockaded the region leading to 2 million biafrans to death should I show you evidence to support my claim? Stop yarning nonsense |
"They're our friends" Lmfao Yorubas should know by now who they should hate |
The apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, has urged the Federal Government to leverage Nigeria’s diplomatic relationship with Finland to address the case of Biafran agitator, Simon Ekpa. The military has accused Ekpa of exacerbating the insecurity in the South-East. Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa, implicated the Finland-based Ekpa in undermining the activities of security agents in the South-East during his appearance before the House of Representatives in Abuja on Tuesday. Musa emphasized the need for the Federal Government to engage the Finnish government and possibly summon its ambassador to Nigeria concerning Ekpa’s activities. In an interview with NewsNow, the Secretary General of Ohanaeze, Ambassador Okey Emuchay, expressed the organization’s support for Musa’s proposal. Emuchay stated, “This morning, the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide and myself, we have discussed it, and then as you know, everybody, all the stakeholders in the South East, the governors, President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the leadership of Ohanaeze, everybody is concerned about the security situation in the South-East. “So, the statement yesterday at the hearing of the House of Representatives tells the story as to what we have been saying all along. It is a matter for the Federal Government of Nigeria to handle, as Ohanaeze or the states in the South-East are subordinate to the Federal Government. “The Federal Government has a diplomatic relationship with Finland, they (Finland) have an embassy in Abuja, and that diplomatic channel is what Ohanaeze is asking to be activated. Ohanaeze is very pleased that the Chief of Defence Staff made a public pronouncement on the matter of Simon Ekpa and we are happy with it.” Emuchay also highlighted Ohanaeze’s unwavering commitment to secure the release of the incarcerated leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu. “Ohanaeze and the South-East governors are on the same page on the matter of Nnamdi Kanu. I am not in a position now to say more but Ohanaeze with the South-East governors, the stakeholders in the South-East, the leadership of Ohanaeze, we are all on the same page on the release of Nnamdi Kanu.” Source: https://newsnownigeria.ng/ohanaeze-calls-on-fg-to-activate-nigeria-finland-diplomatic-ties-for-ekpa/ |
