Your TP is wrong,use 4174V28000 to nail AFN packages on Thor @ 1’W.Very easy to nail,mind you,you must have an auto roll power vu decoder,because they change keys multiple times a day.Enjoy

What autoroll decoder would you recommend?

Another is picture quality. I lost interest in fta because of the poor picture quality of most channels especially multi TV channels, etc

The only best bet on fta is a big ugly dish larger than most compounds can accommodate like a 4m dish and in most cases can only be enjoyed through cccam account.

Still following this thread anyway if something new comes up.

You are suggesting a 90cm Right? And was I using the correct frequency ,and does it matter which decoder I use?

Please help me I want to nail eutelsat 16E.I was using this frequency 10804 and SR, 30000 with a 60cm dish,I spent the all day without success, I could see signals showing but wasn't scanning any channels . I want to be watching channels like ORTB TV ,RTB TV, canal 2 English. I wasn't using a strong decoder

Once you can locate east then its simple.

As you move from east towards south, while raising the dish, the sat position decreases.

For example, 36e is lower than 28e and closer to the east. 5e is virtually facing south and up the sky.

Good day everyone, kindly assist me, since morning I have trying to track Eutelsat 16°E(TV5 monde) with stargold SG-5100 HD mpeg4 decoder and a 60cm dish but can't get the signals. To say the truth am kind of blank with positions ( eg 38°, 16°,120 ° etc) that is to say I can't install a dish without looking at its position from somewhere .However, I have managed to install multi tv (tv3, Joy prime and the like), this was a success because I looked at the position from a friend and he provided me with the frequency.

Kindly provide frequency, symbol rate, satellite and dish size and type of lnb you are using (ku or C-band) for PTV SPORT

9e is tricky to track,but there are so many other satellites to track AFN packages from,as easy as ABC.

Thanks for replying, am just from reading comments from the link you provided and I must tell you am more confused right now , the more I read the more confusing the info became..... I have never installed any other sat apart from PAS 10, w4 for dstv and Astra 28E for multi tv. And the kind of lnb (black inverto)the guys were talking about is no where to be seen in Zambia, I have never seen that kind of lnb in Zambia since I was introduced to dish installation. To be honest with you I can't install a dish without seen its direction from someone. Thanks for taking time to read, love you guys
