feelamong: I dont think you need to panic so much...provided you are not depended on the stock market for ur daily bread!

just look at ur portfolio.. i dont think any bank is destined for failure yet.. take time and look for the best time to average down ur losses...if you intend doing long term.. you will come out well in the long run! However going forward do try to diversify ur portfolio!
thank you sir, i m grateful for this ur response and advice

Hi all Ogas and Madams at the top!
I have been following the thread in recent time just to view how things is being done here.
I like the alerts some of you gives. I was once a forex trader but lost all my funds on the trade and this really discouraged me about forex trading. But something always tell me that I was the cause of it because I always disobey common rule I should follow. I want to start trading again. I need everybody advice. Can I succeed in this business? As I see people are succeeding in this thread from the result I am seeing.
This is my first post on this thread!

Elai147: Stocks are more of emotional affair than mutual funds. If you have a good knowledge of stock investment, then it is fine. If not, I will advise you obtain as much knowledge as you can get before going deep in it. It is also good to diversify and you should not put all your eggs in one basket. Don't get carried away by rate of return. Stock investment has no guarantees. For example, a bankrupt coy can liquidate all its shares and the investors will be left with nothing hence, the need for thorough knowledge of it.

I have cancelled this order and bought firstbank
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by brio(m): 2:18pm On Jun 21, 2013
stockbull: mutual fund is just like fixed investment which is set by the issuer but the fact is that the issuer is coming to the capital market to invest in diversification( stocks, bonds, tbills) to ensure your money is secured and to be able to return profit to you. The profit depends on which mutual fund you go for and the profit is always parallel to risk capacity.in summary, it's just like giving your fund to fund manager because you're too busy to manage it yourself.
Should I focus only on stocks sir?

fxisreal: bro u have a point, but most of the time those benefit this type of strategy u mention is brokers and those closer to the broker. we in a month of selling for pple like me not buy time if you have not bought few week ago.
let me site an example that happen to me just last week b4 the stock finally sold on monday. i place a sell order for a stock which keep closing on bid since last wednesday, but all unit i put for sells can not be sold at once. tell me y? thank for the extension of the bull that gives room for the sales
the question is what are the reasons the stock closing on bid but but the number of unit u want to sell can not be sold at once? come to think of broker, my broker has being doing wonderful job for me ever since i join
Please fxisreal which broker are u using

Elai147: Since you were told that you had irregularities on your signatures, I assume you already have a stockbroker and must have submitted the certificates to him/her. Your broker shoud have advised you on what to do in order to rectify this problem. If your broker is not helping, contact your bank and request for "Banker's Confirmation". A Banker's Confirmation is needed when the Registrar cannot verify a client's signature. So your bank needs to testify that the signature is truly yours and that you are a customer of their bank. You may need to be physically present in the bank to be able to do this. You may also need to go with a passport photograph and some form of identification. I am sure they will be able to help you.
Thanks I am grateful. I will take the steps you have highlighted
