Hello ....this has been on my mind a while and I have finally decided to ask the house....will be going for youth service next year February ...so this means that by time my application would be getting to Canadian embassy, I will be a corper....and i don't know if that will complicate issues or me......

I read somewhere in this thread where somewhere told Canadian embassy that she had to come back to serve as a corper after her master programme because without her Nysc she would not be able to get into Nigerian labour system...so this served as her genuine reason for her return...

Pls I need suggestions ASAP .....plssssss

Sounds interesting, I am going for a 2yr diploma programme, the tuition fee is like 12 grand *geez* would have gone for masters but I can't find my course for masters programme in the college, I intend working while I school and hopefully after school, work, work and work and ofcos settle down with one of Canadanian finest.
If you intend applying for a work permit after school I'd advice you go for a public college that offers internship program. It helps secure job easier as I heard most employers in Canada give jobs based on intern experience. Wish you luck and everyone here in their pursuit come 2013

Hahahah sha...canadian most finest....come on ...cut me some slack here...whatever happened to nigeria's finest in that same Canada!!!!!! And yes my course has a three month internship called praticum....oh yes.....

Everyone seems to be headin for MUN...memorial university of
Newfoundland, I heard that place is boring, and getting a job there is almost impossible I'd rather settle for the city life regardless of the tuition fee anyone knows a good school in the likes of Ontario or Calgary. I mean schools with success stories for intl students with 2.2

Like seriously....I have friend there and they all have jobs...besides I only need a job to feed really cos am going with all I need for one year accommodation and all my tuition...note also my course is way cheaper than yours you know...cos my tuition for the whole masters programme is abt 5k dollars and yes the place is boring but gross an book I come read oooo...when I finish then the ig cities can have me....I have a friend in Exxon Mobil n he was picked from MUN...hehehehe...

@iwora...very well spoken...the school is very accredited by Benin republic and they have their accreditation number on the jacket of their brochure.....recently NUC was in the school to do a general survey but I couldn't understand the stupidity of Nigeria because we won't go to Ghana to survey a school...just because Benin is a small country they disregard the sovereignty of the nation...it baffles me at the same time totally annoys me....i don't remembr a time when Benin was colonized by Nigeria.....if my memory serves me right it was colnised by the French so I really do not know where an anglophone country like Nigeria gets off showing some madness.....DR Octavia houdegbe at one time was under pressure about this accreditation thing in nigeria and if my memory serves me we'll he has sorted his issues with the Nigerian educational system...right about now in the school...am so downright sure you cannot gain admission with fake credentials because right in front of you , your waec result will be confirmed and if it's fake you asked to go....secondly students hat came in with fake credentials have been scrapped off...It took a lot out of dr oudegbe to scrap off this students but the man did the right thing...he has come a long way and pls people who know nothing of the man,s pain and struggle shouldn't sit at home and judge him....this type of judgement and disregard of benninoise is what has given growth to the hatred and hostile ness towards Nigerians in the country...I spent three years there and not for one day was a bennoise nice to me because as far as they were concerned we Nigerians have no respect for human rights...

IMT enugu is accredited, but the sch had some issues one time after we graduated abt admitting so many students than the required number giving to then! So it led to the withdrawal of the accreditation! But it has been sorted out and fully restored A yrs ago cos its a state owned poly! If u doubt me go and check on the internet or ask google! But ministry of education in abuja! Haven't put there name on "WHED"! Even as at the time of securing this admission, I reported the issue to the sch management and they promised the will go to abuja to fix the fault cos the sch accreditation has been fully resorted!...so i waited abit but it seems like am abt loosing the admission and time is going! Wen I have paid already then I gave them go head order!...even up till now they are still yet to do it!..."Rembr WHED is world higher education database! Even many sch in nigeria are not there! But they are accredited!...so now u get my point sir

Oh ok...WHED doesn't have a comprehensive list of accredited school..that I know for sure now...pele tho....it's all in God,s hand

inspirizu: Hello house Ȋ̊ don't understand this tuition fee because its meant to be 1yr and at most 2yrs
International Students
Program Fee $8,565.60 ($4,282.80 per
term)
Program Fee $8,565.60 ($4,282.80 per
term)
Continuing Fee $691.08 ($345.54 per
term)

Per term it is...there are two terms in one year in mannitoba..so multiply the figure by two and dt is your tuition for one year....so ur total tuition for two years is about 16000 Canadian ollars. Continuing fees is I think for wen u don't complete ur programme n the stipulated number of terms

It's amazing to read through this thread and see hnaub being thrashed like this....I went to that school and I wore my gown on the seventh of July....the school is accredited...the major issue there is that their medical department is totally lacking and is crappy ...but if ur gng for business course, international relations or computer science or mass com..then ur on track...it's just a Wally small school and if it's as bad as people say then I don't think it would have been offered admission in canad for 2013fall semester...that school gave me the chance in life that Nigerian schools never gave me...so peeps its time to stop listening to hear say and. Heck out their website...

anyijoe: @sir p...I submitted on 17 june and it got to CDHC on the 18 june...and am suppose to start on sept 4. And my uncle sort of is sponsoring me!..but I didn't show any ties of any such cos he was my grammy's sister's last son and my dad saw him through sch! But his now a millionaire...and wanted to see me through the advance diploma I appiled for @ centennial college...am a graduate anyway but centennial college denied me of doing post graduate with them reason was because they are using "WHED"world higher education database to check all the accreditted sch around the world and it happens that my sch here in nigeria was not there!...but they gave me a advanced diploma...on business administration with duration of 3yrs. Dat was the same course I read in sch anyway. So everything was fully stated to the CDHC.

Sorry but wat school did you go to in Nigeria that isn't accredited....Wow!!!!!!!!

Cost of living is nt the same. Provinces like toronto is very expensive, also calgary etc. Toronto is like Abuja, Calgary is like PH etc. Sask has a growing population like Enugu. Its abt demand n supply. If ur sponsors r rich u can go there n enjoy ur life, but as a student, u need to find ur feet before moving to such places. Just like sum ppl live in suleja and work in Abuja cos of cost, sum ppl live in Regina and work in Calagary which is few distance (was told like 30 mins drive)

I get ur point really but basically you can get acc for 400dolls in bith Newfoundland and the same alberta
