Many youths has been protesting in different Areas across the country about police Brutality. What do we say About police extortions? Are they not part of the reforms we are asking for?
What is the the situation in your Area?
This is my experience yesterday. I live at iyanasashi Area of ojo local government Lagos state. While I closed work around 6:30pm and took a bus from Egbeda, our driver was picking and dropping passengers which is their normal routine. Getting to general hospital alimosho we were blocked by a small bus without a plate number which we later found out to be police men, they succeeded in collecting 1000 naira from the driver then we continued with our journey. At igando there are some police women that usually stood there and they work with this Agboros (Tout). The police officers will stand Infront of your vehicle until you give the the Agboros 100 naira and they will mark for you, failing to do so will get your bus impounded. From iyana school to Anibaba,iyana isashi bus stop you will see 4 police checks each collecting 100 naira each and they gives you number so you won't pay again when you pass. This is same situation in okoko,iyanera,badegry express way after Agbara. Maybe this is not one of the things the youths are fighting for, maybe we already accepted this as a way of life. All am saying is if they want to Reform the police all this should stop.

Hello nairalanders, I will be very brief here. For the past 3 weeks I have been having severe itching all over my body, I initially thought it was heat rash but I noticed each time the itching starts and I sratches the area there will be marks all over those area I scratched. I went to see a doctor who asked me to go for a microfilaria test but the result came out negative(non was seen). I also went for a for blood culture test and it was discovered I have a heavy growth of staphylococcus aerus which I started the treatment immediately. I have currently finished with injections now taking the drugs prescribed by the doctor treating me. My problem is that the itching is not improving at all, infact after taking my bath this days my body will be full of marks as if I was floged but its only marks from the spong I used. This thing is disturbing me so much and i don't think this my doctor understands my predicament as he always tells me to finish my staph treatment first before any other thing but i think this is getting worse each day. please i need advice from doctors in the house on what to do here
