If by Spirits you mean beings existing in alternate dimensions, then Yes ofcourse, they multiply. On Earth we have 2 genders, male and female. But in some homes of ETs, there are up to sometimes 5 genders. Can you even imagine that ? Some ETs are both male and female. Some are more than females and males and have more genders, cos while we have 2 sides to the coin on 3D, higher planes of existence have more than 3 sides to the coin.

This happens because the brain really can't tell the difference between what is real and what is imagined or dreamed. If we didn't forget dreams after waking up, we would start losing grip on reality, which might lead to mental problems.
