@Dalo4u I work as a Directional Drilling Engineer, typically Sub-sea engineers are very competent in mechanics and designing. a lot of what they do is in mechanical engineering and i would say you have a good start with your M.E degree. However getting into Sub-sea engineering is very tough. its one of the highest paying engineering fields out there where you can earn up to $$400,000 a year or N64mil. Typically a Sub-sea engineering training school in Norway or in the UK is a sure way to get into Sub-sea engineering but be advised its expensive, classes range from $3,000 to $6000 a class. |

Subsea engineer is a little more just because of the complexity of it and the fact that they work under water |

The starting salary for Drilling Engineers is $95,000 per annum in Nigeria on the other hand it is close to N11mil a year |
