Osyxcel: 1. Make sure you have up to 80% battery level.

2. Make sure you have at least 2Gb of free space on your MMC.

3. Boot into CWM Recovery mode.

4. Go to backup and restore. Select backup. Wait for it to complete.

5. Reboot your phone

6. Find your backup in the SDcard/clockworkmod/backup folder.

7. You can copy your backup to a PC to save space.

To restore your backup, make sure your backup folder (always in a date and time format) is placed in the SDcard/clockworkmod/backup folder.

1. Boot into CWM recovery mode.

2. Go to backup and restore, select restore. It will automatically select your backup (if there is only one, and it will ask you to choose if there are more than one.). Wait for it to finish.

3. Reboot your phone.

4. You have successfully restored/unbricked your phone.

5. Daz all!!!

sarry86: Yes i did bro, i got the same phone from a friend then i made a full rom backup using Mtkdroidtools then flashed the phone using Sp flash tool, its back again

tboyw: bro porting cwmr to bricked phone is not a problem at all, the problem is where to find mt6572 USB vcom driver ooo. the thin is very scarce do to the fact that mt6572 is a new chip set... maybe we have groupsearch this brother o. and that's one advantage of l3 over m3 which is mt6575... very common

sarry86: Some people says they have succeeded porting it, but i have never seen the real cwm on tecno myself, been trying unbrick mine since the last two weeks with no success, CalCare is far away from here and no one with the same device living near me.

bedfordng: just go to google play store and download onnadroid backup and busy box.you will need root to gain root access to the phone.for those looking for clockwork mod recovery or TWRP that is compatible for tecno M3, i have just completed the compilation and i will upload it for you to use on your Tecno M3.cheers
