Nigeria’s economy is already in a bad shape but still better and one of the best in Africa. the 10 ways it can affect us is as follows Lack of fund, the government will find it difficult to generate fund cause the economy will be scatted with lots of on economics activities, the government will be forced to go into its saves to spend on the masses like borrowing from international bodies, Empty economics activities, the whole of Africa is really afraid of the virus because we all know the government doesn’t have the capacity to handle the virus as it stands now Lots of persons might be affected thru hunger, an average Nigerians gets lets than 4$ a day, so how do the poor tend to feeds it family, how do we tend to buy from the market, who is ready to risk his life supplying food from house to house, The northern Nigerians will not understand this situation because it will take the grace of GOD for the alimagiri to stay at a place without carrying the virus if affected to spread it round to others because they cannot stay a day without feeding for themselves The government will be embarked with the high rate of corrupted practices due to the money that will borrow for this virus, no civil organization will be after check and balances on the day to day government activities of the day There might high demand of foods and low supply to the masses due to the effect of the virus, at this junction everybody wants to fill their house with lots and lots of goodies to enable them last while the virus is gone, The church activities and social gatherings will be withheld for some long or few periods of time, which will lead to the panic of the religious belief of the people Lots of fraudsters will emerge from all this activities, due to idealness so the white men should be aware of the new trend of GBOYS (YAHOO YAHOO BOYS ) It will really affect the financial institution we don’t need to be told Most school activities will be definitely shot down till the rest of the period of the virus How to Stay Safe From Corona Virus Over the past couple of weeks, it’s become clear that the world is facing an unprecedented challenge. Rivers State and how it’s handling it corona virus Rivers state is not very active on its case and situation on this virus issues, most of its populist is not even worried about the virus, most persons believe it is deceit by the government to get money from the WHO organization, they see everything as normal, most are even complaining why will the federal government have a lock-down on its citizen at first, we all need to understand that the government is doing all it can to resolve and reduce the way this coronavirus would have spread so fast, each citizen should also help to curtail and obey the law of the land for easier service delivery by the government of the day. Why should we believe that the virus is in Nigeria? That is the very big question most uneducated and uncivilized minder persons are asking each other, is a very big Shame that most people do not watch or listen to the radio or even view social media comments or the news online, we as a person should not or no longer laugh about it again . more seriousness should be seen by the people so others can learn and understand what is happening in the world. What the government should have done before asking for total lockdown Is no longer news that Africa leaders like punishing its citizens without giving them safe heaven treatment for things they should have done without stress, As a leader, you ask for a lockdown without even granting or setting outstanding effect to lessen the poor masses suffering as a case of AMERICA CITIZEN the president helped in making life easier for the citizen, not just the poor but also the entire populist as a whole N0.1 What stops the Nigeria government from sharing or giving out some about of money for lessening the suffering of the ordinary man in the country The government should also increase the amount of light in the country, most areas haven’t even seen light for the past two to four years of stay. The Government should have taught of giving out foodstuffs and securing it, till it gets to the hands of the poor masses and average citizen, due to large scale of corrupt politicians and individuals between the corridors of power N0.2 Our government should also help in supporting our local scientists in the country. By empowering them with some palettes, this can encourage them to also add to the world scientist who can also find or bring out the vaccine for the coronavirus LESSONS LEARNT FROM CORONA VIRUS COVID 19 every arm of our Government Federal state and local government should know by now that the country we have in Nigeria and we cannot run away from our dear lovely country, this is a sign of our weak system from our government, our hospital, our roads, our light, our IT, communication, education system, our health system, our corrupt politicians, everything we have mentioned here should be looked into, our government should do more in providing its citizen with the best of bests. any government in this country that didn’t learn from the COVID 19 viruses is not ready to lead its citizens to a greater height. while most countries are already evacuating her citizens from Nigeria because they fell we are not ready yet as a country to fight the virus . though some countries had evacuated their nationals from Nigeria, the Federal Government was yet to evacuate Nigerians from other countries owing to diplomatic procedures. The aim was to address ballooning crime rates that seemed to elude the capacity of the conventional police. With particular reference to Rivers State as a case study for the purpose of this analogy, security challenges have been curbed to a reasonable extent through local security framework. The establishment of local security outfits in Rivers State such as OSPAC, a communal initiative and a security alternative , has convincingly brought a tremendous redefinition of the security framework and efficacy in addressing security disservice that formerly put the state at the apex of criminality. In recent past, several communities in Rivers state witnessed high degree of security mutiny. Renowned among such communities is Alakahia in Obiapo Local Government Area, Emuoha and Omoku respectively. These communities were bedeviled by high profile robbery cases, communal war, youth militancy, kidnappings, assassinations, cult clashes capable of sacking an entire community, unnecessary blood bath amidst plethora of heinous crimes. In a bid to restore sanity to such insecurity afflicted communities, the Governor of Rivers state , Nyesom Wike launched the “Operation sting” in July, 2018 functioning as a state police although an arm of the conventional police force and the Rivers state Task Force, complemented with a local security outfit named OSPAC, all of which activities can be in brevity tagged “A crusade to the Restoration of Sanity to Rivers State”. The activities of OSPAC and the measure of success recorded in curbing criminal activities in terms of arrest, confrontations, unearthing of clandestine criminal activities and execution of criminal elements base on fact and not hear say or spurious assumptions gives a green light to giving a nod to the community policing initiative. Despite the ban on the group to limit their activities to just Onelga L.G.A , the immediate call by residents of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni L.G.A of the state for the resumption of duty of OSPAC following the surge of criminal activities after the ban, is a testimonial of the fact that OSPAC represents more good than arm. Thus, the fear exercised as opined by a few can be considered far from existing reality because one who is resident and familiar with the then sporadic increase criminal activities in these aforementioned localities will argue this to a stand still . There has been no recorded case of the execution of innocent citizens in the Alakahia axis basically, as those executed are criminals apprehended with firearms at crime scenes with glaring evidence and those who have confessed to involvement in high profile crimes. The instant justice meted on some criminals is necessitated on the premise that the masses have lost confidence in the conventional police system when it comes to the prosecution of criminals handed over them. In fact, non of the apprehended criminals by this group have been spared on the ground of ethnic and political sentiments. Having navigated through the positives of the OSPAC in Rivers state, it becomes crystal clear that the role of community policing cannot be underestimated. There is the urgent need for integration of these local security outfit into the formal police system in terms of giving them recognition, funding, training for professionalism sake to align with constitutional requirements. This will also help in averting supremacy muscling among security operatives that could spring out from unhealthy rivalry over who does the job better?. For instance, the Operation Positive Identification launched by the Federal Government will yield mountainous success if there is partnership with local security personnel who are well abreast with local terrain that can aid in unveiling criminal hide outs, indigenous and residential identification, intelligence gathering e.t.c It is no doubt that the level of insecurity paroxysms has overwhelmed the conventional police system, a shortcoming born out of man power gaps and the over stretching of existing manpower capacity that calls for a complementary role from local security outfit such as OSPAC and the Rivers State Task Force that has evidently helped restore law and order in Rivers state. If this measure is replicated in all the states of the federation, it will undoubtedly help in mitigating security debacle. At this juncture, it becomes pertinent to call for consideration for the recruitment of Npower beneficiaries, local residents who are well abreast with their local terrains to fill manpower gaps required for community policing systems which becomes ostensibly justifiable base on the above analysis.
