heavenisreal18: Good morning I have tried treasury bill and the rate is annoying now with the WHT the removed at maturity. 90k was removed from my capital cos I invested for one year I wasn't expecting it. Now am on MMF the percentage is not encouraging Pls I am begging someone to put me through in another high rate investment with low risk .I don't want to put all 12m in MMF High rate yet low risk na near impossible financial oxymoron. One must give way for the other. High rate=High risk. |

This is a clear case of " who the cap fits, let him wear" .
If e pain you, then you're "unemployable" indeed.
English comprehension is a huge task for Nigerian graduates.
He never said ALL Nigerian graduates are bad. He "said" Nigerian graduates are bad.
His assertion may come out blunt but it's TRUE.
Na herd mentality dey make anybody vex on top that statement.
Graduates/Job seekers should do better through capacity building. |

Egelife: Thank you so much for this. I wanted to be so sure I am making a good decision considering the fact that ARM financial is not really talked about here I guess. I will be porting on Monday from Stanbic as I just found out they paid about 14.4% as against 15+% shown on their platform throughout last month Did you factor in 10% WHT in your calculation? Hope you know 16% on paper will translate to 14.4% after WHT? |

I funded my Investnaija account, hoping to invest in Aradel holdings.
System is telling me insufficient fund to buy stock, whereas I allegedly have sufficient funds there.
Please what could be the issue, or is there something I'm not getting right?
Please do well to reply to my inquiry. Thanks in anticipation. The money you transfered is still in your wallet and not your stock trading account. Move it from your wallet! |

Foodempire: Good afternoon, for those who have withdrawn the total invested funds in money market recently, does the 10% WHT deducted from your money? Or does this only apply to treasurybill investment? 10% WHT applies to your interest. Some managers remove the WHT daily(if you get daily interest) or remove it from the total of interest for the time in consideration. Na ONLY your interest WHT dey affect |

yMcy56: @Streetinvestor2 I'm trying to monitor and research another stock that can perform like EUNISELL and NCR.... Hopefully, I'll identify one or 2 in the course of the search...
* The one I've seen, no one can even get to see it buy on the exchange for now, it may need the regulators intervention before some quantities can be released for trading..... OR, if they want to come for capital raising We both know doing this with certainty is virtually impossible except you're clairvoyant. Stocks on NGX "over-perform" for a number of reasons beyond fundamentals/company financial health. The best you can do is guess a number of stocks likely to move that way.... |

ipobcannibals: T-bills are better than MMF because T-bills interests are locked in for the duration of your investment, while MMF’s interests fluctuates on a daily basis. MMF was 23.7% at the beginning of the year, but now it’s averaging 16%. On the other hand, investors who locked in T-bills at 18.5% in January for 1 year got a better average interest when compared to MMF today. This is not exactly true.. MMF interest can also swing higher remember. In addition, ease of liquidation no be same o. |

Thank you👍👍 yusfatedeeprof: Not worth it. I've tried their smartearn offering, which is basically ARM mmf through their transsnet assets management.
1. The actual interest paid is lower than the advertised rate.
2. There's a lack of transparency regarding interest calculation and the rates applied. They just show you the amount.
3. They charge an outrageous processing fee, 1% of your capital (up to ₦3,000). Although Palmpay Premium members get one free purchase per month.
4. Interest can be unpaid for up to five days after funding your account.
I use Cowrywise now and I've had seamless experience with them. |
