Funny enough Daniel (or is it Esau) Bwala is from Borno the very birthplace of Boko haram which means he should be aware that the targets of Boko haram attacks were Christians at its onset.

Being a northern Christian, one will feel he should be very much aware of the ethnic cleansing and targeted genocide carried out on Christians in the Middle Belt, and even their social, economic and political suppression

But here he is for a pot of porridge, he's denying the pains of his own people and in retrospect, denying his own very self.
Bwala should know abi? Crying more than the bereaved could only be an act of self righteous hypocrisy.

PoliticsRe: Bola Tinubu: The Last Yoruba President Of Nigeria? A Nation's Betrayal by buckeyemedia: 3:46pm On Oct 21, 2025
1nice:
In the annals of Nigerian history, the presidency of Bola Ahmed Tinubu is increasingly viewed not as a triumph for the Yoruba people but as a cautionary tale of political betrayal and governance failure. Once hailed as a beacon of southern leadership, Tinubu's tenure has sparked widespread disillusionment across ethnic lines, with many questioning whether he is the last Yoruba to occupy the nation's highest office.

Prominent Yoruba figures have openly called for President Tinubu's impeachment, citing a series of missteps and alleged abuses of power. The Yoruba Youth Socio-Cultural Association (YYSA), representing the youth demographic, condemned the impeachment call from a faction of Afenifere, led by Oba Oladipo Olaitan, labeling it "despicable" and "unwarranted." YYSA defended Tinubu's actions, particularly his association with the Chagoury Group in the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project, as lawful and in the nation's interest.

However, this defense is not universal. The Conscience of Yoruba Nation Group, another faction of Afenifere, criticized former President Olusegun Obasanjo's remarks about Tinubu's preparedness, suggesting that such criticism stems from envy and a desire to monopolize southern leadership. They argue that Tinubu's economic reforms, including subsidy removal and currency liberalization, have revitalized Nigeria's economy.

The disillusionment with Tinubu's presidency extends beyond the Yoruba community. Ijaw leaders have expressed strong dissatisfaction with the administration, particularly criticizing the handling of state affairs and governance. They have urged President Tinubu to address internal issues and have even challenged his authority, highlighting a significant rift between the federal government and regional leaders.

Furthermore, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Segun Sowunmi, cautioned President Tinubu against betraying his supporters, emphasizing the importance of trust and loyalty in political leadership. He warned that any perceived betrayal could have lasting consequences for the president's political future.

The question arises: Is Tinubu's presidency the last opportunity for a Yoruba leader to ascend to Nigeria's presidency? The widespread criticism from various ethnic groups suggests a deep-seated belief that the Yoruba have failed to deliver on their promises. This sentiment is further fueled by perceptions of betrayal, as many feel that the current administration has not adequately addressed the needs and concerns of all Nigerians.

International observers and human rights organizations have also expressed concern over the administration's handling of dissent and activism. The Yoruba Union, Ìgbìnmó Májékóbájé Ilé-Yorùbá, criticized President Tinubu for turning state machinery against peaceful protesters, a move they deemed hypocritical given his own history of activism. They have called for international intervention to address what they describe as "state-sponsored persecution" of activists.

As Nigeria approaches the 2027 elections, the legacy of Tinubu's presidency looms large. The widespread calls for impeachment, the accusations of betrayal, and the ethnic divisions that have surfaced suggest a nation grappling with its identity and future. Whether Tinubu's tenure marks the end of Yoruba dominance in Nigerian politics remains to be seen, but the current climate indicates a significant shift in the political landscape.

The question now is not just about leadership but about trust, unity, and the direction in which Nigeria is headed. As the nation stands at this crossroads, the need for genuine, inclusive leadership has never been more critical.
U no even hide your bad belle?

If you no get brain na im Dem fit use this 'increased'allocation deceive you. A governor recently lamented that it costs 4 times more to construct a kilometer of road than it used to be even 2 years ago. Implicitly, 4 billion naira allocation today is less than 1 billion allocation before the Tinubu era.
When their ineptitude is causing galloping inflation, they remove subsidies and collect more in taxes from the impoverished people and share it among themselves, claiming increased allocation. Increased allocation from with productivity, when oil price is even lower.
And then the governors will steal everything after which the same president will coerce them to join his party to avoid prosecution.
People with brain know we are used.
I am not here to change u, keep wailing.

I am not out to insult you, just telling you the reality, simply put, what a person wishes for others is what the person will get himself but in this your case, it will not pass this year. Sorry,Mr man; there was nothing like injustice here! They offenders used their legs to walk to where the court ordered them not to cross having first already served. Life is by choice, they choose to be sturbbon and decided to protest for the release of a terrorist founder. Even Sowore knew it would be a disaster for him if he was arrested because he knew he would be going against the court order earlier served him so he had plan B to run away on first sight. Sowore has just throw way KANU lawyer and his brother to police dustbin. Now, impatient obidients will soon descend on Sowore and Sowore may regret the protest as it will turn obidients back to him. We warned them they didn't listen, they made their choices to trade away their freedom.

Sowore will eat belleful from home to come and greet them in police custody. Sowore should be moving with security now because some obidients think backward, they may think he sold KANU lawyer and brother to police, nothing he will explain to ipob/ESN to convince all of them. Some will say he betrayed them and then label him as saboteur
100% true, perfectly correct.
