This has nothing to do with the court, the judiciary is seperate from government. His protest is against government and the constitution has given him and everybody else the right to protest anything they want

You seem not to understand.
The supreme Court is an appellate court whose jurisdiction stops at pronouncing if he's guilty or not guilty of the offences treated by appeal court.

The supreme Court rather agreed with appeal court ruling that kanu was extraordinarily renditioned but should continue his trial in a lower court again, overriding the appeal court.
There are even questions about who signed the CTC of supreme Court ruling

Kanu's lawyer would be in contempt of court if kanu has been attending trials from his own home and not under illegal detention.
