Kindly enlighten me about this model. I read somewhere that it is plagued with radiator leakage into the transmission.
I don't mean to spoil ur sales, pls. it's out of interest.

A friend wants to sell me his 2006 Xterra. He rarely uses it as he has two Toyota brands.
My fear is all the Transmission and radiator talk of 2005 and above models, plus electricals.

The only thing you'll need to fix is the ac compressor (factory fitted ac) and minor rewire and interior work for it to be in top shape.

Yes, it can. You can do alignment on the wheels (I just changed ball joints and stabilizer linkage, so the alignment is distorted) and you're good to go.
