The Social Media Specialist will engage and develop captivating conversations with consumers on our branded social communities and platforms. This person will work in a highly collaborative fashion with brand marketing, legal & regulatory, and our creative, media and PR agencies to create a brand voice and editorial direction to drive engagement and increase organic growth of our audience in our communities. Manage presence on social networking sites including Blogs, Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Blackberry,Pinterest and others
Job Description
• Editorial writing, posting, content & strategy development, photo management.
• Creative development & execution of social media campaigns, contests, social media event promotion.
• Quarterly development & presentation of a complete social media marketing plan.
• Auditing competitors' online and social media efforts.
• Market research and analysis.
• Generating & presenting social media reporting and analytics.
• Creating graphic designs for, contests, custom graphics, online banners, print campaigns, on-site signage.
• Analyzing, reporting, and presenting social media performance with the use of analytics and online tools.
• Professionally communicating directly with business partners, retailers, community and business professionals, social media outlets, and executive team.
• Assisting management with short-term campaigns, plan revisions, department development, and research.
• Stays current with industry trends in web-based/digital media technologies.
• Leads and participates in various size projects, effectively communicates project status, issues, and resolutions.

Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media or ANY dicipline with minimum of 1 year overall working experience in social media and/ or digital marketing.
• Public relations, marketing, sales, community management, or commercial real estate experience a plus.
• Extensive Graphic design Experience
• Personality to get the crowd going

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Google+, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc. ) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios, strategies and techniques.
• Able to communicate professionally and effectively in both a verbal and written format.
• Able to independently manage multiple social media platforms and campaigns simultaneously.
• Strong project management or organizational skills.
• Able to maintain and extend industry and community relationships.
• Strong technical understanding and can pick up new software and online tools quick.
• Must be able to navigate and work Mac efficiently and comfortably.
• Must be a team player with the confidence to take lead on projects.
• Excellent communications skills; ability to communicate with all levels.
• Experience working in a communications environment.
• Strong attention to detail; ability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy.
• Highly creative. Able to produce creative solutions from basic concepts.
• Good interpersonal and team building skills.
Position pays between 40,000-60,000 naira monthly.
We are conveniently located on Allen Avenue,Lagos.
