u knw what, currently in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, i guess its only Private Universities in Nigeria that knwz d specific date they would resume and graduate. Normally before the year 2013, U.I alongside other federal Universities mostly resume A NEW SESSION around OCTOBER. But things changed last year due to the lengthy ASSU STRIKE, caused by my dear President, Dr(phD)Goodluck Jonathan(formerly a lecturer himself)... . . . . . Nwyz,U.I's new session wil resume 21st of March 2014. In my calculation,2015 Jambite may resume December 2015.

To the best of my knowledge, the waec part has been dropped, at least they didn't use it for us.

I would say you're on the right part but try to get 80+ in your post ume exam, so that you can be a little sure of being admitted

official cut off for jamb z 200 but a higher mark z needed to b comfortable...cut off for pume depends on ur jamb score cuz aggregate z used....this year's agg cut off was 70 but previous years have been wayyy higher than that. last year's own was 72.sumfin.....being from catchment area also helps

wt m trying to draw out is dt u shudn't conclude on jst having above 70 cos it depends on hw well d candidates perform dt particular year, jst determine to have a very high score in post utme, above 200 in jamb and a complete and good O'level result, no combination of results...God help u

Good morning to u all. Actually, I'm not a student of ibadan. I wil b takin jamb next year and I wanna study medicine bt I wud like to ask a question. I learnt that for admission into unibadan, with 200abv in jamb u r eligible to take part in the post ume and 70 in post ume u will be given medicine. I was also told that dey rili acknowlege waec results dat dey admit students with 5A's and abv in waec, someone else opposed to it sayin that dey add up all ur waec grades to get aggregate and stuffs like dat. I had 1A, 4B's and 3C's in waec wat's my chance of gaining admission to study medicine in unibadan with dat result, abv 200 in jamb and abv 70in pume? Thanks!

Hi. Pls is there anyone in this thread who did remedial or has details on the remedial programme? If so, Pls I need answers to the followin questions
1. I saw on their site that "candidates who write the 2014/2015 jamb with relevant subject combination to any programme in either arts or science and must obtain the mininmum pass mark approved by the fed govt" so does it mean that any1 who wants to reg 4 d remedial programme must get at least 180 in 2014/2015 jamb before admission can be granted into the programme? What if the candidate did not write 2014/2015 jamb will admission be granted into the programme I.e for session 2014/2015.
2. What is the advantage of going for the remedial programme for someone that wants to study medicine?
3. What is the range or the estimated fee for the remedial programme?
4. Since reg is closing dec 10, what is the likely date for resumption of the remedial programme?
