The deposit is 5900, but you can pay 3k while in Naija and balance the 2900 when you arrive. 5900 is the requirement before you can do enrollment.

Yes there is. They have one for 20£ per night and also another one 25£ per night, someone mentioned one that is 15£ per but she said it’s a little bit far from school. Also as time goes on if you make friends with people that stay in York, you can sleep over at their place. Some people also stay in the library over night, but they won’t be able to sleep so it’s not easy.

It’s possible, I have two course mate that usually come from London, they will come in on Thursday and sleep in York, then to go back to London on Friday after lectures. It’s possible if you have money for Train.

Is it advisable to pay tuition deposit once received unconditional offer or wait till after Pre CAS interview?

University of Wolverhampton thou, that sch seems to have received an overwhelming application, hence my fear.

We just got unconditional offer late April for September intake, meanwhile we applied for May intake but was deferred to sept.

and have mailed them like 3 times to schedule pre CAS interview but they said we should wait as they were working on doing that this month

My fear is, time dey go bro
And I heard some people had even made deposit while still on conditional offer oo

Any possibility for sept intake? Or make we just zero mind and put trust for January?

To make matters worse, their Nigeria Representative is not even responding to calls, chat or mail.

Those representatives are always annoying. You can make deposit if you don’t mind waiting, but if you want to explore other options don’t pay cos you will be tied down.

You will not re - apply. Have you done pre- cas interview?
There are jobs in Leeds than Bradford. But Bradford is close to Leeds.

Yes you can pay, I paid mine too during the processing of September intake but I was not given CAS, so when they started with January intake, I was part of the first set that got CAS.

Registration for January intake will happen this year, by September it should start. I don’t know if they might decide to issue more CAS, but the chance of that happening is low.

Yes, because we go to school just two times in a week.

Please which ever you decide to go for please consider the cost of school fee, except maybe you have made provision to pay the school fee. Because you cannot depend on 20 hours job to pay school fee. I am trying to scare you o. Shalom

First of, what the living expenses in York?

*Living expenses in York is a little bit high.

*You can get a job as a student, but not easy at the moment as most of them prefer someone that can work full time.

*Accommodation is a little bit high in York, my house rent is 950 pounds per month and it’s just one bedroom. But you can stay in Leeds or Bradford. There are student accommodations in Bradford for 370 pounds with personal toilet & bathroom. You will just share kitchen and sitting room with 3 other people, and the house is furnished. You can stay in York if you can get a job in York. You share room with others.

Dey don’t require POF before issuing CAS, CAS issuance depends on when you apply, if you apply during the peak period, it takes time. Presently I learnt that they have stopped issuing CAS for September intake, its full.

Touch down London. Just pray to meet a good border officer. He just asked me is this your first time in Uk and I said yes. He na said are you going for studies, I said yes. Then he proceed to stamp. He kept it simple and short.

Good afternoon, please I did my tb test using the name and address of a different school. I have admission with another school which I'm going with.

Can I make use of the TB test certificate or I need to change the name of the school and address on the certificate to the new school.

You don’t need to change the address. All they want to know is if you have TB or not. My TB certificate also have the address of the first school I applied to.

You don’t need to upload evidence of accommodation. You can chose school accommodation even if you won’t be using the school accommodation. That’s what I did.

Good day everyone, my friend’s waec result has a different date of birth from all other documents she possess. She has submitted Affidavits which the school rejected but she was asked to get a correction of date of birth from waec. Pls how can we go about it.? The school needed it for CAS issuance. Pls help

I have the same issue and I used affidavit. Why is the school rejecting it? To correct the date of birth will take time and that’s if they will do it

My own success mail from Ukvi came in on Saturday. The person we did biometric together on 20th of November is yet to hear from them. I don’t know what’s going on with them.
