Nigerians have been responding to a letter circulating on Twitter, supposedly from the All Progressives Congress (APC) youth wing, urging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to appoint Seyi Tinubu to oversee the selection of a youthful Minister of Youth. 

The social media platform has seen a range of opinions regarding this request from the ruling party's youth wing.

The letter, dated August 21, 2023, titled "The Clarion Call For a Purposeful Minister of Youth That Is Fit For The Job," commends President Tinubu's youth-friendly policies.

The scheduled arraignment of Godwin Emefiele, the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), on charges of breach of procurement laws and contract inflation, has been postponed indefinitely. 

The arraignment, originally set for Wednesday in a Federal Capital Territory High Court, was not included in the day's proceedings.

Reportedly, the delay in the arraignment came at the request of Emefiele, who is currently in detention.

Nasir el-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna, has issued a cautionary statement directed at the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), advising against military intervention in Niger Republic.

Yemi Adaramodu, who is the speaker of the Senate, has mentioned that the Senate might ask the three ministerial nominees who haven’t been confirmed to come for another round of questioning.
