I will encourage everyone building in Lagos state to do proper documentation before embarking on such project. It is your responsibility to do things right. Government can stop you at any stage. Unfortunately, demolition seems to garner more sympathy from the public.
If the government relax on these regulations, Lagos will be littered with many nonsense structures and this will have environmental consequences.
