Johnjustice:funny enough you are the narrow-minded and myopic one here who can't stand the guts of rich people. Let me burst your bubble, that law is not made for the rich because they'll always have money to hire best lawyers to defend them. The day people like you will spray money, as poor as you are, that's when you'll know the law works. Hating on the rich will not end your poverty and misery. |

gtown:if implementation of law is selective then it's not justice. |

Johnjustice:Nonsense. Squeezing money makes no sense too. Infact squeezing is the commonest form of Naira abuse, but most people are guilty of it. How many have been arraigned and jailed for that? Envious people. |

The law is being implemented for the sake of some poor mobs who can't stand the guts of affluence. You can't convince me otherwise. Spraying money is one of the least causes of currency notes wear and tear. Most people applauding this witch-hunt squeeze and write on Naira notes which is also as criminal as spraying. Spraying is almost a culture. It's the reason polymer note was introduced. When this law is fully implemented, those in power will be affected and poor people will also be roped in. Then, the likes of Cubana will upgrade to spraying pounds and Dollar without harm. |

eilas:I fear the law will be weaponized to institutionalize envy. it's already happening. Spraying money isn't the only way Naira can be abused. If my above fear is true, then, EFCC should prepare for the worse because other currencies can still be sprayed. 16 Likes 1 Share |

RickyJesus:this is a criminal trial where the judge must be double sure before entering judgement against the accused. EFCC obviously have only video evidence. Any testimony that doesn't provide physical evidence of the note sprayed will not be taken seriously. 2 Likes |

donbrowser:he will never go to jail. "I sprayed dummy" notes will be his defence. The case will take years and will be dismissed. This is what the other one should have done but seems to have a terrible lawyer. |

SalamRushdie:"put your crew"? As in carry them like babies and put them in the producers preferred boat? And what the hell do you mean by bad safety record? Any service approved by relevant regulatory agencies are deemed safe. If those services are truly unsafe, then, like I said, blame the government for negligence. A producer is not even directly responsible for the details what you are blaming her for, there is a crew member responsible for that. Like I said it's all a campaign to demonise a major section of Nollywood, coupled with some elements who want to settle personal scores from the tragedy. |

SalamRushdie:why do you guys fearlessly join ignorant social media herd in making claims? It was a boat service not belonging to the producer. It was paid to convey the crew. It was the duty of the boat service to provide safety to passengers not the movie producer, that is why the producer was neither arrested nor charged. The boat drivers have been arrested. If the river was the movie location, the producer would surely have been liable as it's her duty to ensure safety there. If the producer paid for flight for the crew, would you blame her too if the there was plane crash? We understand that there is a concerted media campaign to take advantage of the tragedy to demonise the major part of Nollywood, but it can happen anywhere and to anyone. Blame your government for lacking strong regulatory framework to ensure safety in the waterways transport. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Very meaningless statistics. Pass numbers or pass rate makes more sense. Moreover, states with chronic jamb failures will always have more candidates. 5 Likes |

Their own is to demolish Igbo mansions in lekki. Now, look at this place. Even a poultry farm is more ventilated. South east is not rated by statistics as the most developed part of the country for nothing. 1 Like |

Igbo presence in Warri is quite minimal and it's getting smaller by the day. Warri business environment is very hostile, land swampy and purchasing power weak. Igbos are much more attracted to Asaba. Being more peaceful, receptive and vibrant, and for obvious cultural reasons, Igbo presence there is increasing. I wonder which Igbo is demanding land from you in Warri to start with. I suspect you are a fake moniker and I expect Warri people to dissociate themselves from you. 9 Likes 1 Share |
