Nozino: Hello Bummie,
I wanted to reach out to you about a personal matter but I wasn’t sure if you’d like to be contacted via email.
I’m already in the US and I’m on track to graduate from my masters (Mathematics) in May. I have also completed most of my prerequisites and gotten accepted into a 14 Months ABSN program. Some questions I have is how did you pay for nursing school? What nursing program did you do ? ADN/BSN? Would you do it again?
Looking forward to your response. Please send a DM |

amnotapervert: Yes, that’s your Express Entry profile, and it does not prevent you from also applying for a student visa.
It’s important to understand the context of your goal. If you are trying to move her permanently, then Express Entry is your best option provided your CRS points are high enough even for healthcare.
However, if your goal is simply to leave the U.S. due to the current visa instability and the Trump-related uncertainties, then coming to Canada through school is an option. That said, I will be honest....you will likely find the process frustrating as its not as easy as it looks on the surface but its very possible
If you are considering lower-cost schools,
(1) Memorial University of Newfoundland is one of the best options, Known for very low tuition even for international students
(2) University of Manitoba Good nursing programs much Lower living costs than Ontario/BC
(3) University of Saskatchewan Master of Nursing (Master’s; sometimes NP stream)
(4) Cape Breton University
(5) Dalhousie University
(6) University of Alberta Strong program, sometimes research funding available
I always advise working with a licensed immigration consultant. A regulated professional can help you clearly understand your options and align them with what you are truly trying to achieve
check for the one in your city https://register.college-ic.ca/Public-Register-EN/RCIC_Search.aspx Thank you so much |

Please guys, can someone guide me. I am planning to start the express entry process for my family then before the end of the year I would start the student visa application for masters in nursing.
Is this possible?
If yes, I need someone to recommend an affordable school. Which province should I target? FYI: I am a registered nurse in the US but still on the student visa.
Please, I am actually not happy going through this process but I just have to do it. I need help guys.
Thank you |

Babygal2020: This thread is now so dry. It wasn't like this during my first pregnancy in 2020.
Any February mamas? That was exactly what I just said but let's appreciate the people that are still here trying to keep it alive. See you all soon |
