GboyegaD: I am so happy my other friend got his VISA today. I encouraged two of my roommates in my final year to apply and now both of them have their visas on virgin passports at their 1st attempt. I feel so delighted unfortunately, I do not have full details of their interview.
For those going for their visa interview, I would encourage you to be bold believing that the visa is yours and you sure would get it.

rowlandoo: Well applied for ED today and hopr they get me a better date in july . I also called the embassy abt my missing cert , they said I shud cme with the scratch card and police report .

free R1: From what I have read and know, If your school av a compulsory orientation or av a policy not to enroll after the resumption date, you might av had problems @ the POE in US, cus u will av presented ur I-20 which would mean u missed the deadline and would not be able to enroll in school (dats a prob 4 d VO and U). The embassy might av taken this into consideration and technically deny on the basis of "u can't enroll in school".

I was @ d us embassy on june first and got there in time actually because the interview was scheduled for 9am.
The interview went well and I answered all questions correctly and my dad's bank statement and mine was showed to the lady on the 2nd counter,Then she started typing and asked me to pick up my visa at vsf office at lekki on wednesday and I told her thank you and left happily until yesterday midnight,I got a text and email from vsf office and us embassy to pick jp my documents today.
I was shocked and quickly went there this morning to pick up the visa and passport but on gettin there,I held my passport and didn't see any sign of visa granted but I took the letter in the envelope and read my visa is been denied due to some reasons.I was shocked and it actually spoilt my mood because I already bought my airline ticket yesterday hoping to travel tomorrow as the school already resumed on monday.Please has anyone experiened this before or if there is something I have to do to make this right because I am seriously dissapointed.

imperiouxx: Your friend or you?! want to give solace and you so curious like this.... lolz. Anyway, the TOEFL is low for both the school and the embassy. Thats if the embassy ask for the TOEFL.

bypassit: Please does anyone has tip or questionnaire for an M1 vocational visa.
I am having interview in few days from now and i have been reading testimonies and advise for a long while but i havent read any one applied for a vocational visa.
Please help me out here friends
