So sorry about that. I bet you are going through pains now. Please get povidone iodine lotion and be applying to it alongside the medication you were asked to be taken by the doctor. The povidone lotion will help in the healing process, it will make your skin look normal other than being pigmented and untwisted while healing. It also keeps germs away It's either you get povidone or povidone plus ( the plus is a combination of iodine and metronidazole specifically meant for sores.
