Pls nairalanders, what are the things one needs to set up a computer repair shop aside the required skills and the shop itself? Thanks |
fatdon2:Ans=6 |
omoOBA3118:Dial *343*5*0# twice to deactivate Whatsapp bundle. And wait for the deactivation confirmation sms then restart your phone. PS: You might also need to buy a 10mb plan. |
fortech91:Nice Tips. But No 4 & 5 are not whastapp native features. You need a thirdparty app to make them work. |
emekaxy:Try The new version of Photo Studio |
@miraclewonder Thanks for all your help. Whatapp is now available for all. Just update your present whatsapp from playstore or download the apk from whatsapp.com/android |
cromz:Download this gapps: http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/gapps/PA/4.4.2/pa_gapps-stock-4.4.2-20140503-signed.zip and flash the zip file in recovery. |
cromz:What's your android version? |
Joiedevivre:Yes, I do but I'm in Abeokuta. |
Joeny:Its a long process. You must know how to flash rom on mtk to use it. |
mo2raur:Yes, you must. All new sims have to be registered. |
powerfuldudu:That's not quite true. I got the free 2015mb on my exiting line by sending "Infinix" to 131. |
doxarised:Yes, I did. |
toscotech:Cool! I'm also in Abeokuta and I have the Copper Brown version. If you need anything relating to the phone - rooting, imei changing, hd games etc, feel free to contact me. |
Joeny:Yes, I have. I used the MtkDroidTools-SpFlash readback method. |
I'm in Abeokuta. How do I get the phone.? |
#650 for delivery and I stay in Abeokuta |
Jimwalex:It's simple, just download Jumia mobile app from plays tore, launch it, choose Nigeria as your country, it'll take you to the landing page. Then click the option menu at the top right side, select sign-in, it'll give you the option to create an account if you don't already have one. Start shopping
|
Joiedevivre:These are the pre-installed apps minus superuser.
|
iheanyi40:Maybe pay on delivery is not available for your location. Hope you got the #2000 discount. |
One more thing, the sunlight readability of this phone is quite good. Also, if it's your first time with Jumia and you want to order this phone, order it yourself. As you could get a discount of #1000 or #2000, either using the fresh registration cum newsletter coupon or via mobile app first purchase coupon. |
Tuunjii:It doesn't. There is no notification light. What you have there in front is the light sensor and front camera. |
ige101:I meant OTG Support i.e. OTG does works on it and OTA Update i.e. The device can receive over the air update maybe Lollypop or other enhancement through OTA update in the future. Btw I attached some screenshots earlier showing OTG works on it. |

My short review (less than 24hrs with it) * Picture quality (both front & back camera) is quite good * good HD display (300-320dpi) * OTG Support * Gesture Support * OTG Update * True Octacore - quick response but do get slow a bit after prolonged use with multiple apps opened (average of 15 in my case) * Best of all is the battery. It's a true 4000mAh. Been using this phone none stop for straight 9hrs+ with Wi-Fi on, streaming MTNmusic with Bluetooth on and I still have about 45% and 8hrs estimated battery life left. * it doesn't gets hot like other Octacore I've used. * I got a GPS fix in about 10sec w/o internet * internet both on 3g and Wi-Fi is fast * some cool functions like auto start management, shortcut for torch, Cal, cam, recorder & stopwatch, using Gesture to dial some contacts though I've not been able to make it work WHAT I DON'T LIKE * fast charging was just an advert gimmicky. It took 2hrs to get a full charge from 12%. * camera sound is reminiscence of the old technology audio... Too loud * audio quality (both call & music) is average but still better than innovative one

My Infinix-hot-note-x551(black-copper) got delivered yesterday and I've been playing with it since. Can't drop it. It's a superb phone at its price, better than the 40k range phones I was using before that didn't last a month before they packed up. |
