Hello my general doubledx...i have also tried the questions too but i have some ogas who say the question has solution but higher studies can solve it...one of them said...transformation will be used(not laplace transformation but the other one)and we will integrate using double integrals...ok...pls,what about this...integral x^x dx...THIS ONE IS SOLVED USING SOPHOMORE's DREAM

Shollypopz: I need someone to solve this, I don't think I'm right.

Problem: A jar is filled with red, white and blue tokens that are equivalent except for their color. The chance of randomly selecting a red token, replacing it, then randomly selecting a white token is the same as the chance of randomly selecting a blue token. If the number of tokens of every color is a multiple of 3, what is the smallest possible total number of tokens in the jar?

a.)9 (b.)12 (c.)15 (d.)18 (e.)21

EducationRe: How To Calculate Quickly And Correctly In Mathematics by Calculusfx(op): 4:25pm On Jun 22, 2013
Remember this bro,the square root of a natural number is + or -...so,from where you got y^2=4...therefore y=+ or - 2...therefore y=+2 or -2...from the first equation x+2y=0...substitute y=-2...therefore x+2(-2)=0...x-4=0...x=4...substitute y=2...x+2y=0...x+2(2)=0...x+4=0...x=-4...therefore,when y=-2,x=4 and when y=2,x=-4

EducationRe: How To Calculate Quickly And Correctly In Mathematics by Calculusfx(op): 2:47pm On Jun 18, 2013
Thanks, but ur answer is not among the options. The options are:
A 2x+1
B 2x+2
C x/2
D 2x-2.
I hope u can understand my workings cos i don't know how to use subscript and superscrpit on nairaland cos i'm on mobile. Log25^x(base 5) - log 4/100(base 5)
log5^2x(base 5) - log 5^-2(base 5)
NB: log5(base 5) = 1.
2x-(-2)
2x+2. My final answer is 2x+2 but the textbook says it's 2x-2. Can u pls point out my mistake?
...you are very right bro with what you did,i can't say the textbook is wrong, maybe it's typographical error,i mean the answer the textbook provided but your answer is right...

EducationRe: How To Calculate Quickly And Correctly In Mathematics by Calculusfx(op): 8:42pm On Jun 16, 2013
To know if a number is divisible by 9...just add the numbers together,if it's a multiple of 9.then 9 will surely go in it...e.g.747...you say 7+4+7=18...18 is a multiple of 9...then 9 is a factor of 747...what about 735...add the numbers 7+3+5=15...15 is not a multiple of 9...therefore 9 is not a factor of 735.THE SAME RULE APPLY FOR 3...THEREFORE 735 IS A MULTIPLE OF 3 BECAUSE 15 IS A MULTIPLE OF 3
